Had an iPhone 5 screen replaced this summer, under the premise of «Total Replacement Coverage». Total replacement is advertised on their website, and includes replacement for any reason during the life of your phone. Well, of course the screen cracked a few days ago, and I called to set up a replacement. The worker advised that total replacement plan wasn’t offered at their location. The owner proceeded to explain that he is a franchisee and his store wasn’t in on the program, despite the fact that the website states a guarantee. So in the end, he wasn’t obliged to honor anything, and he couldn’t help me. He offered to reduce my replacement by $ 24, an offer on which I passed. This appears to be the classic bait and switch technique. In addition, the quality of the glass is suspect, as the phone wasn’t subject to serious impact. The damage occurred from less that a foot drop, onto a wood table. The phone had a case with rubber impact absorption as well. In summary, I will go elsewhere for the repair. here is a link to their site:
