This hotel, near the convention center, reminds me of a 25−30yr old hotel that has been updated with some paint and accents of a new hotel. The room is of good size but the bathroom is small. Sadly, cigarette smoke lingers from years past. It is conveniently located for walking to some good downtown restaurants. If I were to return to St Cloud I doubt that I would seek out this property.

The noise level is unreasonable. I’m told by David at the front desk that events are authorized to be noisy past midnight. They’re booked so can’t swap rooms. There’s «no manager on duty» so no one can issue me a refund if I check out. He laughed at me. He wouldn’t even apologize or offer a meal voucher. Nothing. The desk clerk is coming to the defense of David not even offering an apology. If you want a quiet place to actually sleep this isn’t the place.

As the photos will show, my first room was filthy. Shower was moldy, door covered in food(?) and window frames were spidery with webs. I was met at the door by a large insect — cock roach? I’ll sleep in my car next time. The condition of this hotel is inexcusable at any price.

This was an alright hotel. I was presenting in the hotel and I had no complaints. It is a bit older but clean and comfortable. The presentation rooms were nice and well maintained. Visual and sound was just fine.

You’re gonna charge me $ 125 to stay the night and NOT give me a complimentary breakfast just because you have a restaurant attached?! Meanies… Overall this place is significantly better than a Motel 6, which is where my friend Kolina and I have been staying all across our San Diego to Connecticut drive. They’re cheap and all we care about is a place to sleep at night. Tonight was special. I forgot what it was like to walk into a hotel room and not rip off the bed spread. Don’t smell the musk of some weird cleaning agent left behind. I forgot what it was like to have the option to use the pool or the gym. Don’t feel that I have to wear protective footwear when taking a shower. But no complimentary breakfast? I thought Minnesotans were hospitable!

My wife and I were here for my brother’s wedding and we got the room by the pool for $ 65 that included a pizza at the adjacent Green Mill. It was a cool deal. The rooms were nice and OK size but they had 2 full sized beds so we decided to have a bed to ourselves. The pool was nice and the banquet room that the wedding reception was nice. We ate at Green Mill twice while we were there and the pizzas were really good and the service was great. The free wireless was a plus and the staff were all real nice/ Overall, a great place for the price.

Best Western in St. Cloud, MN — what can you expect. Room was clean, free wireless internet that worked most of the time, and gym was okay(had working machines). People were nice. No complaints here, but nothing to rave about either.
