I got ahold of Chuck at Great Lakes Tire about some suspension work we had discussed last year. He had recently installed a new alignment rack and was up and running with all the latest and greatest. I dropped my truck off and they set about to make it go down the road like new. He was able to replace worn suspension bushings, both king pins, front wheel bearings, brake shoes & drums, tie rods, etc. The alignment was set and I was called to pick up my truck. Since the king pins were tight, they advised me that it might take a little time for them to wear in. That was good advice, because I had a difficult time with it for the next few days. All of that was a couple months ago. I had a bit of a problem with a failed component on my steer axle today. They scheduled an appointment for me and started right in on the repair when I arrived. Upon inspection of the failed component, they said it would be covered 100% under a warranty claim. As I write this, my truck is back online and ready to roll.
