Yet another great looking place that seemed to have potential and somehow these lesser establishments know precisely how to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. Boy, where do I start, how about the service? Pathetic. The waitress seemed to be either new or had no clue as to how a food order is taken or served. We had to explain to her what was on the menu because she didn’t know. It’s not that big a menu, trust me. I had it completely memorized in 5 minutes. C’mon already! Of course, they were out of the starter items we were most interested in. Jalapeño poppers? «Nope, all out». Walleye bites, «sorry». OK, cheese sticks? «fresh out». OUTOFCHEESESTICKS? really? Then let’s try the Calamari, OK?(cringing at this point). «Let me go see if we have any.» Success, they had the Calamari but, when she brought it out we asked her what that was. She said they make the Calamari different there, it’s in strips. Now, I’ve seen it prepared and served that way but, no one wants Calamari strips and then to top it off, NOCOCKTAILSAUCE, «sorry». I said, cocktail sauce or any sauce? You must be kidding. It’s ketchup and horseradish! You can’t be out of cocktail sauce. I soon found out why. The wife ordered the hamburger(beef they called it) sliders and the waitress asked how many and then turned to me and asked me if I wanted fries with them, apparently assuming we were splitting the sliders, which struck us both odd. I said no, no I am having a cheeseburger, which I did order. The menu said ½ pound burger for $ 7 and I know for sure my burger wasn’t anywhere near half a pound. Maybe 4 ounces. It was OK but, they committed what I consider a cardinal sin in burger preparation. I got a slice of tomato that was literally about ¾″ thick. Boy I hate that. Nothing worse than having a tomato slab shoot out the side of a burger, taking the onions and lettuce with it onto a sloppy pile on the dinner plate(if not on your pants). I asked for mayo on the burger and got two single serve packages of Kraft mayo which explains why they were out of cocktail sauce, they just grab the sauces from a box until they run out and apparently have no one with a car that can run down to GFS or Costco to restock. If there’s one thing I loath in any restaurant or grill is packaged condiments. Where am I eating, in a sit down establishment or a food truck parked on some street corner somewhere? Packaged condiments are for take out orders, not eat in. Clearly, they have a problem with inventory control in this establishment. This is the second time we tried this place. The first time we couldn’t walk through the establishment because some people were opening gifts on the floor during a BABYSHOWER in the middle of the bar/restaurant like at a house party or something. After the most recent visit here, we have come to the conclusion that this place attracts and caters to the, let me just say, lesser classes. The staff is pretty much tattooed, pierced and half scalped so that tells you a lot about the caliber of the help. That may be OK for many people but, when I drop a few bucks on a meal, I want good food, great service and a pleasant experience. The music was also inappropriate for a mixed crowd and way too loud. I would not recommend this place to any of my friends or family. YMMV. Beware the positive reviews on this place. They seem to be from either employees, regulars or people with a clear bias.

Has a decent bar, and some Burger King like restaurant seats on one side. Not sure what’s going on with that. Maybe half restaurant/half bar? Didn’t eat, no comment. It did look weird though. The patio with the games was freezing. There were kerosene and electric heater outside but turned off. I’m assuming it’s more of an enclosed summer spot? I ordered a drink and asked for $ 5 worth of quarters. I wanted to play pinball, which was the only reason I came here. The waitress returned with $ 2 in quarters, informing me the bartender refused to make change. The waitress ended up getting some more for me, and was very nice. So, I guess bring your own change if you want to play pinball or games?

Burgers are AWESOME!!! You can get a flame broiled or grilled burger. I recommend the Flame Broiled and with it you get baked beans and potato salad. Both taste homemade. Juke box also has great collection of songs. Fun place to hang out with the family or friends!!!

This place was pretty good and I think it has a lot of potential. First… you need to let newcomers know where the entrance is. Improved signage would help. I liked the menu choices and chose the pierogi plate. I was disappointed to find it was just a frozen product similar to what you find in the grocery store, especially since there is a Polish speciality store a few miles away and a gluten free perogie company in St. Clair Shores. The person I was eating with said her hamburger was good. I think with a few more unique choices, fresh ingredients and occasional specials this place could be a gold mine. It is a great walkable spot for the neighborhood. Neighborhood specials would be smart. Live on a certain street in the neighborhood offer a discount once a month or something creative like that. Put some flyers with info inviting the neighborhood you might get a few more regulars. When choosing what to put on the juke box, take a look at who is sitting in the bar. The 40 plus crowd tends to like the older music and will stay longer. Also some guy who may have been the owner or cook asked us how things were but never introduced himself or engaged us further(so basically I got the impression he really did not care what we had to say).

It’s been 30 minutes since I gave them my card. I keep asking for it back. I hope they don’t take a picture of it. There’s absolutely no excuse for this slow service. Nobody else is in here! I think they’re trying to trap us in here. They must need us to spend more time here, or more money.

The service has become pathetically poor. They have a huge sign that states“Everyday 2−6pm Special, $ 1.75″ The bartender begins to argue with me that the beer is $ 2.50. On top of that it was 3:45 on Sunday during the Lions game.

We found out about this place because of groupon. We went there and the atmosphere was awesome, very modern! The staff were so sweet. Always checked on us. The chef came out to ask how everything was, very nice man. The food was delicious. My boyfriend had the burger medium rare, and it was made perfectly. I got the large cheese pizza that was great, very good portions. The apple pie and apple cider ice cream was also a hit. We will be back

Food was good, service was good, portions were not appropriate for price. 5 skinny perch fillets for 15.50 when competition down the street serves 7+ for 14. Tried to give us 10% off coupons to compensate. Won’t go back.

Ordered a pizza couple days ago, the pizza was bought to the table by a man in a filthy white shirt that called himself a «Chef». The pizza had hardly any sauce on it just a couple of drops, we asked the«Chef » guy what happened to the sauce… he became extremely irritable he wouldn’t redo the pie or add more sauce or discount out tab -… NEVERAGAINWILLMYGROUPORMEWILLCOMEHERE! It was awesome as Lakeshore House… those days adding gone!
