Amour Bridal

I got married in Sept 2013. I got my dress here, and my bridesmaids got their dresses here, and my mom got her dress here. Every experience with them was great. After my first appointment trying on dresses here I walked out without a dress and came back a few hours and a few places later to purchase my dress here. Tiffany was great in helping me keep by voice even among my very opinionated Mother, Grandmother, and MIL. The dress I got was a dress that I kept looking at but none of my family liked but Tiffany saw that I kept looking at it and pulled it and made sure I ended up with a dress I loved and actually so did my family.
My mother’s dress was cancelled a month before my wedding because the dress company went out of business and stopped filling orders, this is not at all the fault of Amour Bridal but they did everything they could to try to find the same dress for her, and they tried to work with her to find a replacement and even in a short period of time. My mom did end up finding something off the rack at Macy’s and brought it in the be altered here. Again what happen to my mom’s dress was by no means their fault but they worked very hard to ensure that my mom had something to wear even if it meant not being able to purchase the dress from them but to go somewhere else instead.
This year one of my bridesmaids is getting married and I am the MOH. This was one of the stops that was on our list of dress shopping for her bridesmaid but she found a dress she liked elsewhere. The place she found the dress at has horrible customer service, especially after you have dealt with this place. I picked up my dress at the other Bridal store and brought it here for alternations because not only it is cheaper and faster but a much better experience. Oh and they had the same dress in store and for a much cheaper price.

Horrible experience. Went here since this was one of the few stores in the area that carried a brand of dress I had seen online. I was told there was only time to order a dress from the manufacturer that was already in stock. Upon calling, the company only had a size 10. Since I am a 4 or 6 in wedding dresses I was concerned about the dress being brought down to size, but was told it would be no problem.
At my first fitting the dress was much too large as expected so that was fine. However, at my 2^nd fitting the dress fit completely wrong and all the younger woman kept saying was that it was because I wasn’t very curvy. That’s not exactly the way to calm a worried bride in my opinion. Also, there were 2 occurrences where I had planned for my mother to come into town for the fitting only to be called the day of or day before to say the work hadn’t been started yet so I needed to reschedule.
Also, the person taking measurements is not the same as the person doing the alterations. Something seems wrong about that and there seemed to be a disconnect likely because of this.
Luckily my dress ended up fitting after so much stress that could’ve easily been avoided. I felt like the younger woman working here was rude and insensitive. I would definitely not recommend this store to anyone looking for a dress.

Very friendly and great staff. Every time I have in their I enjoy myself and I’m very comfortable. The dress selections are very beautiful, suits and tuxedos as well. Nothing bad to say about this place very clean and professional.

Extremely unprofessional and cheap and dirty, just terrible! If you want a beautiful, bridal, special consultation then do not go here! They are liars and super unprofessional! The consultant (also the daughter of the owner gets away with anything) will drink coffee and eat during your bridal consultation. They also lied and then later admitted to lying just to try and keep my business. She also listened more to my bridal party and not to me! Ugh I cannot express enough how terrible it was here. As a «bride to be» you want to feel special and important and treated properly and not taken advantage of. Please just go somewhere else and don’t waste your time here, you’ll be happy you did!!!

I got married in August 2013 and purchased my gown, veil, headpiece, and bridesmaid dresses from Un Amour. My experience was at the Roseville location, but I wanted to write a review for their new listing here on Unilocal!
I definitely did not possess the «bride gene» like so many other women seem to have. I visited several other shops in the area, but I felt the most at ease at Un Amour. The staff is kind, attentive, and knowledgeable. I ended up choosing my bridesmaid dresses from Un Amour, as well. This was no small feat — all but one of my bridesmaids lived outside of Michigan, with one living in the United Kingdom. This was handled easily; the staff shipped the bridesmaid dresses to Florida, New York, and the UK with absolutely no hassle. With all the craziness that goes into wedding planning, I was thankful that Un Amour made the whole dress-​buying process a breeze!
