December 6, 2014 We follow a couple bands around the St. Charles area and Bonedaddy was playing Tuners. We hadn’t been to Tuners in a long while and we were in the mood for some Bonedaddy. Make no mistake, Tuners is NOT a food destination even the free popcorn is not good. But don’t come here for the food because there really is none. The beer selection is very strong and the beer is cold. The wait staff knows their business. The clientele are middle-aged folks looking to enjoy a night out without enduring headbanging music. You will feel welcome here by the staff and the clientele. The venue is comfortable, cozy and the acoustics are ideal. The band plays their guts out without blowing you out the door. Music volume is ideal. My date and I did not try the restrooms so I can not comment on that. Tuners is a dive-bar so dive in.

Went here to meet up with a friend. Love the dive atmosphere, attentive service and great music this night. My drinks were priced very reasonable and I believe there is the popcorn machine in the back. The place was packed this Friday night while a couple of places nearby were dead. Definitely check them out.

This place is a little awkward for me since me, and a friend walked in, and there was nothing but people in their 40s, and 50s in here, the bartender was at least helpful.

Tuesday night karaōke with DJ Churchdogg is the best part of Tuner’s. The bartenders are awesome, the atmosphere is awesome. Definitely an awesome place to be.

Tuesday nights at Tuners. When you go to a small closed-campus university like Wash U, you get so wrapped up in your own little world that it’s seldom you have friends outside of school. We built community here. The bartenders, the DJs, the other patrons — karaōke nights were the best! I miss little dive bars like that are still so friggin cool for something like karaōke night. Worth the trip across the bridge.
