My friends and I have been going to Kirk for several years. I have seen first hand his extensive portfolio and he does amazing work. In addition to his excellent work, Kirk will keep you entertained with his great stories and personality while you are getting inked. I have had alot of work done by Kirk and always left satisfied. I recently had some work done, and there were some things that didn’t turn out right. However, Kirk and the owner went above and beyond to correct the situation. I cannot be happier with the stellar level of customer service I received to make me happy. Making sure your customers leave satisfied should be as important to all companies, as it is to Kirk and Threshold. Dennis is great! In the last few months he has done 2 tattoos for myself and 1 for my husband. We took him our ideas and he did them exactly how we wanted! I have had 15 tattoos but never found an artist that I was impressed with and wanted to stay loyal to until now. Dennis is also very nice and makes you feel comfortable. I would definitely recommend him to anyone, I get compliments all the time on that tattoos he did on myself and so does my husband!

Every time I call up to this place or go in the girl who works the counter is so rude and unprofessional. She even has turned me away from buying jewelry saying I should just take mine out instead of selling to me. I do not appreciate being turned away or her judgment as a paying customer.

I kept forgetting to write a review for this place and then I saw another Unilocaler’s review and it triggered my memory! (Yeah, it’s that bad, plus I have been MIA for a while.2014 has been so busy… trying to get caught up on reviews!)
Some odd months ago, I realized something terrible had happened… I’d somehow lost an end cap for my industrial piercing barbell! I must have unscrewed the bloody thing in my sleep… or…something. I am still mystified as to how this transpired. In any case, I was going to order a replacement from the place where I had my piercing done (Trx) because it’s kind of a haul for me and I despise parking over there, so I called them only to discover the cost to ship it to me would be more than the part was worth, and you can only buy them as a set (that’s pretty standard though.) So I was like, crap, what am I gonna do… there HAS to be a piercing place near my home!
So I went on Unilocal,and found this place! I honestly had no clue where it was since I don’t venture out in this particular neighborhood all that often unless it’s for work, and that’s rare… but was able to find no biggie. It’s located in an unassuming strip mall.
Walked inside and the place was a little busy, only one gal behind the counter, so she was on her toes. But it was worth the wait. She was able to help me pick out a replacement for my barbell. It should be noted, though, that the type they carry are threaded different from the ones available at Trx, so I pretty much had to get a whole new barbell, which wasn’t a big deal or anything. I am just glad she was able to find one short enough for me (the ultra long ones tend to get caught on my hair!)
The material was high grade surgical steel. I wanted titanium, but they didn’t carry it. Again, not a big deal, cause I just needed something to prevent the hole from closing up. (And yeah, I have had this piercing for years now, but they can still shrink/​close up if you don’t keep jewelry in them!) Price was reasonable.
Also I noticed the place was really clean, organized, and they have very high standards for safety and sanitation which is excellent. I would not hesitate to go back there for more jewelry or just additional piercings. I will eventually get my tragus pierced there, I swear! :)

Threshold is my favorite place to go for Tattoos and Piercings. The shop is super clean and the staff is very professional. If you go in and want something that does not look good or that will not heal well in a certain area — they will be honest with you up front. I appreciate that, because it just adds to the fact that they are genuine with their
Patrons.
I currently have 8 Tattoos, and three piercings and I’ve gotten them all at Threshold. I don’t even live close by — so that should tell you something. Each of the Artists there are phenomenal and I would trust any one of them with doing work for me.
If you would like to make an appointment, you will have to leave a deposit to hold your place. However, you get it back upon your return. After the work is done, you then pay the Artist.
One of the things that I love about this place is the atmosphere. There is always great music and conversation going on, so you’re never really bored while you’re getting ink’d!
I would recommend this shop to everyone! Threshold Rocks!

I am very pleased with my new tattoo. Jason did an amazing job. The place was very clean. I highly recommend them to anyone.

Got my third tattoo here and honestly I’m already thinking of either getting it redone or covered up. Since they haven’t updated their website, I can’t give you the artists name, but mid-​way through the session I could tell he wasn’t into it. Towards the end of completion, he started adding things to the design that we did not discuss which really pissed me off. The detail is horrible, there’s no contrast whatsoever to signify depth in the design…
Another thing that I don’t like is that they charge you before you even get the tattoo, so I had to tip the guy before he even started, which is BS. Tip should be based on how well they do.

I have gotten several tattoos at Threashold and have been completely satisfied with my tattoos and the staff is always courteous and helpful … I’ll be back for more, that is for sure.

Got my first tattoo. Very impressed with the professionalism of John with an «H». Don’t know if it was pricey, but very satisfied with the work. Meticulous to the details.

Chase was more than professional. I absolutely love my tattoo. The shop has a great atmosphere, which really helps to ease l multi-​hour sitting. I’ve already recommended them and look forward to getting futureu work done at Threshold.

My husband and I have only gotten pierced at Threshold so far (and God bless Jake, the world’s nicest and most precise piercer!!) and subsequently purchased 598,748.84 replacement pieces of jewelry because we just can’t seem to gracefully handle our facial art. BUT when my husband’s Trader Bob’s tattoo got ridiculously infected, it was the staff at Threshold that advised him how to get through it and explained that the piece was definitely over-​worked (no wonder he was such a bleeder in the sitting.) The staff is professional and rarely without dripping, good-​natured sarcasm when we come in (you seriously don’t know how much replacement jewelry we’ve purchased.) which we appreciate muchly!
The shop seems to be attracting some really awesome drawing talent these days, too, and hopefully with our tax return we can get up in there and get our Threshold-​tattoo cherries popped!
