I’ve been a member at Skin Deep Day Spa for several years and Emily does my facials. Love her and the Spa. I’ve had great results with spray tanning and teeth whitening. I also get my pedicure and manicures there. All around great Spa, highly recommend it.

Staff is friendly. I had a no chip manicure, I have had them before but this was my first here. They don’t soak nails, just go right into filing them which was of but that was the only prep the nails got, no smoothing. Without soaking first, pushing back the cuticle and clipping it away was painful. 2 coats of polish were applied and cured with the light, but no attention was paid to the tips of my nails, and because the nails were not smoothed my no chip began to chip and peel in less than a week. I will not be a repeat customer.

I’ve been visiting Skin Deep for several months now and I’m very happy to give the team this very positive review. I have had regular facials with Emily, and pedicures with Ashley and have been treated so kindly and respecfully by them I feel like family. I feel the same about Char and Gina who support the front desk and manage the spa respectively. It is clear that staff are selected and trained carefully. If it were just a great place to go to socialize, my review would not be as positive. However, the other important part of this review is how much better my skin looks and behaves, and how much better my feet look and feel with regular pedicures. Not to get too detailed, but I have had problem skin from the time I was 13, and I’m now in my fifities. Today, I have much clearer skin and a routine that works for me. I’m no beauty queen, but I am more confident about how I look. Of course regular facials and consistency with products that work are key. At no time have I felt pressured to buy products, but when I’ve had a question Emily has been able to make suggestions. Skin Deep offers a variety of packages that you can purchase and this has worked for me. A package keeps me disciplined about my facials, pedicures and now manicures. Thank you Lynda(owner) for assembling a great group of professionals who care about their clients and provide great service. I’m grateful that you are in my community.

Great little day spa! I went in for a hydrating facial — I was Pamela’s client and she took good care of me! After reading the first review posted, I decided to give this place a try. They use Murad products, which are great — but what is even better is that they don’t shake you down at the end of the facial to try to sell you the products. That is my one pet peeve about going to get a facial — it’s the sales pitch or product ‘suggestion’ they give you at the end. My skin looked and felt great after the treatment. I highly recommend! Tip: First timers get 20% off their first treatment. They also run a membership special that deeply discounts the treatments if you enjoy a monthly facial. I will be back :)

Since my first review, I have become a regular monthly«patient». For someone with blotchy skin tone, high sensitivity and constant outbreaks of any sorts, this monthly regimen has done an almost-180 to my complexion. No pills. Just methodical maintenance. At first, I was skeptical due to unsuccessful treatments by other aestheticians. Now, I’m a believer, and even make the almost 30-minute drive to Campton Hills for my monthly treat. I don’t spend my money on mani/pedi, or massages. But I will not hesitate to treat the health of my skin right. — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — — - For many who frequent an aesthetician, it is usually either because they have«problem skin» they cannot resolve themselves or they are maintaining their skin. I had gone through aestheticians in other salons, spas and used Elemis at Nordstrom. Neither past experiences left me with much confidence after repeat visits. The aestheticians ignored my history of sensitivity, and introduced lots of products with fragrance that irritated my skin, or products that chemically burned my skin. When I visited Lynda on a sales consultation, I noticed her style set her apart from the other aestheticians. For one, she listened and gave her professional opinion on how to treat it. Secondly, her spa is clean, smells clean and is inviting. Thirdly, she’s personable, not clinical and distant. I thought I’d give facial another shot. In my first visit, Lynda took time to explain the products before she introduced them to my skin. Not one stung or left me with the uneasiness I had smelt or felt like in my past facials. Her diagnosis of my trouble skin was spot on as she was able to discern my daily habits from the signs of acne and likes. Have her explain what a «computer chin» is. ;) Furthermore, if you happen to have a breakout on an important day, Lynda has the right tool to zap it away. The best part was the massage. From the shoulders to my neck and face, I was well pampered. And it continued on to my arms and tired fingers that had been pounding the keyboard for weeks leading to this relaxing treat. While I first came to her to treat my troubled skin, I am now returning for maintenance. Few of us have the proper equipment and expertise to give our skin the thorough care it deserves. The rate is reasonable and it’ll be the best money you could spend once a month for this deep cleansing. Location: The spa is on the 2nd level of a professional office building in the Campton Hills shopping area off LaFox Rd.
