Old Towne Pub & Eatery is a great spot for lunch, quietly nestled among a small business corner in Wasco. A pit stop from the work day was much needed, and the cold water and a place to sit were greatly appreciated. The friendly staff and quick service made for an even better experience. The house salad had all the fixins to be expected, and the Philly cheesesteak was a solid option as well. The peppers and onions complimented the meat nicely, although the bread was not as supportive as desired, yet somehow a little on the filling side. Overall though, I would come back if ever in the Wasco area again.

Old Towne in St. Charles is just okay. It’s typical pub food. Nothing is wonderful and nothing is terrible. We’ve been a few times and the service has been hit and miss. I’ve been to the Old Towne in Geneva, and had much better food and service. To summarize, I wouldn’t go out of my way to visit this restaurant.

This place needs Bar Rescue!!! Simple stuff that should be fixed is not being done. So many of the chairs have torn/rips on the seats. There was graffiti/tagging in the men’s restroom. Why??? There was way too many posters around of the bands that were scheduled there. I won’t be returning.

Not sure exactly what it is, but every time i have eaten here it upset my stomach. Once i got a Buffalo Chicken wrap that put me out of commission for three days. Dont get me wrong, everything i have had tasted good. They do have a good selection of beers, and cheap drafts. Prices are good, but something they use to cook does not agree with me. I was the only one in the office that ever had issues there so i am guessing its just me.

Good drinks, very good food, large screen TVs for the game. Service good. Portion large for the price. Worth the drive from st charles or Batavia. One of my favorites for a casual meal.

Went to this very lively pub with a huge group. The place is a great looking sports pub with a nice feel. Lots of beers and beverages to choose from and the variety should please everyone. The only downside was the food. It was so/so. Not terrible or anything like that, just not enough to make me come back.

First time visit. The free popcorn when you arrive is great. Plenty of items on menu for entire family and food is great. Great atmosphere, service, drink menu, games in back, outdoor seating, and roll up garage doors. There is a half off appetizers for texting also. Will definitely go back.

This place has pretty decent food but the service was really lame. We ordered a Philly Cheese sandwich and Pork Belly BLT both with sweet potato fries. The sandwiches were pretty decent size and there was a very generous helping of sweet potato fries. We had to get up and find a ketchup bottle when are food arrived. Our waitress Stephanie never asks us if we needed another drink and came back to check on us when we had finished more than half of our dinner. At that point I had to ask for silverware and a glass of water. It almost seemed as if we were putting her out. It wasn’t that crowded so I’m not sure why the service was so slow and lousy.

We always have a good time when we go here. Cheap drinks and its local, so we come in every so often. We like the wings, both traditional and boneless. Also the peanut butter ice cream pie thing for dessert($ 3) is a great deal and delicious. The only issue is that the mix they use to make Bloody Mary’s(which is advertised on the wall) is pretty awful. Not the bartenders fault at all. I HIGHLY do not recommend it. All salt and I felt sick afterwards for a couple hours. Everything else is great. Spread the word about that bloody, though…

Pat is handsome. So is everyone else there. Even the girls. Fish and chips and brisket for life!!! Update. Came back for second time. There is a stage now with elevated seating. Pat swooshed his hair to the opposite side. The place has a rejuvenated feel. Everyone is still handsome.

This place is just ok, in my opinion. We came in and were standing there and weren’t sure if we had to be seated or just grab a table. A waitress came by and sat us at a table. It’s a bar menu with a couple of interesting items. I ordered the Italian beef quesadilla and fries. It was bland and the fries could have been warmer. Our server seemed preoccupied to the point of aloofness. It may have been an off night. The reviews for this place are pretty hit and miss. I have been to the one in Geneva, but just at the bar with appetizers, and it was pretty good with better service. I may try it again but there are a lot of restaurants. You only have one chance at a first impression, especially for a restaurant.

An average pub and grill with a great game room that encourages families and large gatherings here. Endless to say that is not a great bar singles experience. Food bland and boring. Service not good.

Geneva’s downtown is vibrant with cute boutiques, specialty shops, antiques and eateries. I stopped in for a beer only(Stella on draft) at the Old Towne Pub & Eatery, and got suckered in to having the Sunday special, a $ 5 burger, by the smooth talking and oh so cute waitress, «Nikki.» Old Towne has a great bar food menu, with some good innovations, and aesthetically pleasing preparation. They also have beer taps on some of the tables, pour yourself, if you’re inclined — the flow is metered and you’re charged by the ounce. Wouldn’t be able to take Mrs. Burgerdogboy in there, she’s pull a Barney(the Simpsons) stunt, lie on the floor with the tap and her mouth wide open! Burgers are ½ pound Angus, dressed with tomato, lettuce, onion, pickle; a whole raft of additional toppings and cheeses are available with an up charge. Sandwiches and such are served with a choice of sides from a long list: fries, tots, chips, or chips and salsa. Always one to appreciate the small things in life, I can tell you Old Towne has a great pickle spear. The burger was prepared as ordered, and the beef had great flavor. It was one of those times I felt condiments did a disservice do the flavor of the meat.

I’ve taken a real liking to this place. There wasn’t any one thing I could put my finger on after my first visit, but I wanted to boost my rating after dining here 3 times now. We really like the quasi-outdoor seating area. This is just a preferred way of dining for me. We also expanded on their menu and have found other great choices. They serve really good, quality sandwiches here. I drink beer. and for one reason or another I get the Rolling Rock in a can when I visit. It’s the only place I’ll get a canned beer and for one reason or another, it’s a perk for me. We’ve also let our son play games in the game room and he likes to get free popcorn from the popcorn machine near the front. This is just a really laid back place to eat, and the food and amenities are great. I’m a big fan.

Go here every so often for dinner since it is in our neighborhood. Despite the bar/pub atmosphere, the food is actually really good Food– I usually get the patty melt which is always exceptionally good. Burger cooked medium, fresh marble rye, doused in grilled onions. I usually get their chili which is also amazing. I have also had the barbecue chicken wrap which was exceptional as well Service– Service is good with the plus of free unlimited popcorn.

Everyone, My own imposed rules for any review: 1. Must visit at least three times. Two of which must be distinctly different formats; i.e. one weekday night and one weekend night. 2. Must order something unique each visit. 3. If they have any«signature» items on the menu, you must order a «signature» item at least once. 4. Ratings are based on a 10 point scale with 5 being average, which does not mean bad. What a score of 5 means is that the category meets expectations for that establishments format. Thanks. Old Towne Pub — Wasco Location/Layout — 5⁄10: Old Towne Pub is located in a shopping center just north of route 64 in Wasco. The bar itself is tucked back a bit in a very oddly designed shopping complex but there is ample parking behind the bar, and there is a rear entrance to accommodate the rear parking lot, along with limited parking that is shared with other locations in front of the establishment. The interior is nicely laid out with several TVs, a centralized bar and three distinct eating areas two of which are away from the main dining/bar area, which also serves private parties. There is also a game room with a pool table and a couple of coin op games. Unfortunately, there is only a very small waiting area and the lone two benches are kept in the pass through, which can be inconvenient depending on season. Menu — 6.5÷10: The menu is nicely laid out and pretty expansive for a pub with a heavy emphasis on sandwiches. Additionally, there is a Whiteford’s BBQ menu which showcases several of their award winning meats. The BBQ includes standard BBQ fair along with unique offerings such as nachos and burritos incorporating the chicken, beef and pork. Service — 5⁄10: The service is usually friendly and accommodating. There have been occasions where the hostess station was in disarray when they are busy creating situations when waiting that patrons entering from the rear entrance get their names placed well a head of those already in line. Additionally, refills can be hard to come by when they are packed. Moreover, Old Towne frequently has one of my biggest pet peeves in the restaurant industry which is charging for every side item, even if it should be a standard for that particular dish. Sometimes they are listed on the menu, such as $x.xx for ranch, etc, but other times they are not. Making this issue worse is that you are never told when you request an item by your sever and only find out when you receive your bill. I feel that if there is an up charge you should be made aware of the cost prior to bringing the item. Food — 7⁄10: All the food options are very delicious and most are freshly prepared. We have enjoyed all the BBQ options and are fans of the sandwiches that we have sampled. Sizes are appropriate and are not overwhelming. The standouts for us are the pulled pork nachos and the Italian Grinder, which is nicely packed with cold cuts, veggies, and hot peppers. You are offered options as your sandwich side, including sweet potato tots, which I have not been able to try due to them being out of stock every time I have ordered a sandwich. This has not been an issue for me because the fries are very good and the house made tortilla chips are phenomenal. Menu pricing in general is very reasonable and they offer nightly specials but every time we have ordered them the discount was incorrect and we were told the website has not been updated to show the correct pricing. Drinks — 5⁄10: The bar area offers mixers and beers which several are available on tap, wine and soft drinks. Prices can be reasonable, especially if you choose one of the daily or monthly specials. Overall Experience — 6.5÷10: Old Towne Pub is a solid option for pub grub or catching up with friends. The noise levels in general are at a sociable level allowing for a nice conversational dining/drinking experience. Keep in mind they do get slammed on the weekends and they are a family friendly atmosphere, which means that the game room, juke box, and most of the dining areas are dominated by kids of varying ages.

I came to this location because of the groupon I had. I’ve have been to the Geneva location a few times so I figured why not. The food was ok, beer selection wasn’t the best but the service was pretty bad. Unless you are local good luck getting service at the bar. The local next to us was doing tequila shots with the male bartender. Not just one shot but like at least 4 that I saw. That bartender didn’t help us, maybe because we were not buying him shots. The women bartender barley helped us and forgot part of our food.
