Last Tuesday I had Jerry Kelly come out to my house for a diagnostic and to my surprise, I found out that my circuit board was bad after a storm(power surge). Now I remembered looking at the circuit board, capacitor, fuse and fuse box, but sometimes there’s that one component with a flaw that you can’t see(burnt area near the bottom of the circuit board). My wife was at the house and talked with the representative that was very friendly, but the estimated quote turned out to be over $ 400 more than 4 other AC repair companies were charging and that was before the«package rate» if you chose to get monthly service from them to get a much cheaper repair cost(over $ 1,000 just for the circuit board repair, without the silver package rate). I found that the circuit board was $ 138 online(very common board), the diagnostic was $ 79, but the repair cost was over $ 1,000 for a 15 minute repair. I understand that they checked the other components of my furnace/ac units, but I only wanted the circuit board replaced. The repair man was at my house for 3.5 hours, some of which was waiting in his car while it was raining and in that time he forgot to put the covers back on the furnace. After contacting Jerry Kelly’s customer service, I asked to speak with their manager about this repair bill and these overestimated costs. I was told he was out of the office but would return my call the next day. Almost six days later, I still haven’t heard back from them. I’m trying to be reasonable, but it’s hard when I keep seeing the tote bag full of marketing materials they gave me, reminding me of where most of the repair bills costs were coming from. If I could offer any advice, it would be to call around. Without explaining the situation above, the first four random AC repair companies I called about this problem were lower priced and very reasonable. I originally went with this company based on others personal feedback, but I found that their service was overpriced and a lot of reviews are being hidden. Please check all reviews, not just the favored ones.

After checking reviews and selecting Jerry Kelly we could not be happier! Had a coil going bad on the unit and scheduled and appt for Monday and the new unit installed on Tuesday! Fast, friendly, honest and loyal service. They showed up on time and didn’t try to up sell or offer extras. It’s hard to find a dependable and honest company but Jerry Kelly is all that and more!

Professional, courteous, and fast. Our a/c compressor went out(nearly blew up, in fact) after the third 105+ temp day recently, which happened to be a Sunday. Based on the name recognition from their too-funny TV ad with that now-familiar jingle, I called Jerry Kelly at 9 a.m. The friendly and knowledgeable Service Tech, Shawn, got here at 1pm.(impressive in a heat wave!) He cleaned the«felt» off the old unit and it cooled down from 83 in the house to 75. Shawn’s no-pressure approach to the sale was a relief, and he scheduled our new a/c and furnace to be installed the next day, Monday morning, at 9 a.m., at no extra charge. In fact, they waived the normal service call fee since we bought from them. Eric and Mike showed up 10 minutes early, ready to work, and never slowed down. My new quiet, energy-efficient system was cooling the house like never before at Noon! Fantastic deal from a fantastic company. They provide financing at very reasonable terms. Free system maintenance for a year(2 visits) plus a 12-year warranty. They have since followed through with several contacts: a nice Thank You card a couple of days later, a bouquet of fresh flowers a week later, monthly e-mail reminders to change your filter, and more. Very impressed and highly recommended!
