Hotshots Sports Bar & Grill

Good place to hang clean, good specials, nonsmoking, they have what sports bar should be down. Staff has been improving since reopen. Nightlife is good if you are younger.

SMOKE FREE!!! A smoke free bar in St. Charles is a place I will return to often. The bar it self is pretty decent with the pool tables and darts. I will return and my smoking friend have an okay porch to smoke on.

I made reservation for 11 people a few days prior to going in. When we got there, at 6:45, our tables were not set up. I had to help the host set up the tables for us. Once the table was set up the waitress came over and told us she was new to Hotshots. She also told us that she didn’t have any paper to write our orders on so she needed to go get paper. She returned 5 mins later. She took our drink order before giving us menus so we were asking a lot of questions about what they had. A few minutes later we got menus. The waitress came back about 15 minutes later with half the tables drinks. We continued to wait & the rest of the drinks never came. We went up to the bar twice to get our drinks plus refills. At 730, she finally took our food orders. We continued to wait & get our own drinks at the bar. At 8:00, a couple apps came out but were cold & gross. Then at 8:15, a couple more food orders came out. However, the order was inaccurate and had to be sent back. At this point, we all were over it. I asked to cancel all orders and close out our drinks.
I understand the waitress was new but why would they give her an entire section on a Saturday night if she was new? Worst service & gross food. The food looked like frozen pizzas you would just pop in the oven.

I’m usually a Hot Shots fan, I have always liked the place. Sadly last night my whole opinion has changed and I will never return to the location on 94. My husband and I stopped in for a drink and I went to the restroom while he ordered, I came out to see he had ordered 2 beers and 2 shots (which she served in tall cocktail glasses) My husband told me the shots weren’t chilled, so I asked the guy behind the bar (I assume he was a barback) for two plastic cups, one with ice so I could chill the shots. No big deal, I have had to do this before at other places because I like my shots really cold… the bartender walks over and says «whats the problem?» We said no problem, the shots were just warm so I was gonna chill them, she looks at my husband and says with a snippy attitude, «well the stuff is kept in the cooler so…». I brush this off and we proceed to take our shots… she then standing right in front of us, jumped down the barbacks throat about how he didn’t stock properly and talked down to him like she was his mother scolding him. It was embarrassing for us and I’m sure for the barback too. I was steaming by this point because she had the worst attitude I have ever seen in the service industry, I’m a bartender myself so I have seen it all. i asked her name and again with a snippy attitude she rattles off the name Jess while she rolled her eyes. Just beware if you come across Jess because she can take a good night and stomp all over it… Sadly this Hot Shots is off my list of favorite watering holes

Lots of TV with the St. Louis Blues on but was able to watch the the KU game! Had the best waitress ever, Rachel!!! Wasn’t even in her section! I thought beer and food prices were very reasonable. Had the patty melt and it was one of the best I’ve had.

Just reopened. Really nice remodeling and a great set up. Darts on the left side and pool on the right with the bar in the middle. Bathrooms on both sides. Very nice location. I would recommend this location to everyone. I don’t believe people were allowed to smoke inside either.

It’s a sports bar, why would you give it anything under 5 stars?! What did you expect, a lobster dinner and fine dinning? Nothing wrong about this place. Pool tables, darts, and alcohol.

HotShots is OK… just OK. It’s a bar, with bar food, and some bar beer. It’s hard to watch sports, because they have so many televisions that you never get the sound for the game that you really want. All in all, it’s probably good for a happy hour with co-​workers, because it is roomy. There’s just not much special here.

The cheeseburgers and fries and chicken wings are good enough to deal with the atmosphere and cigarette smoke. I had a hankering for a good cheeseburger — so Hotshots it was. We usually have had pretty good service at this location. Not last night. It was just enough service from our server to get by. I normally do not comment that my server is not getting anymore than a 15% tip. It seemed that our server was concentrating on serving a bunch of guys. That would make sense since the shorts she was wearing were soooo short that you could see quite a bit of her butt cheeks. Not appropriate & gross.

Lamesauce. That is all I can say about this place.
The service is the pits. Our server rarely came to check on us and where there is empty beers you can expect a lot of frowns. Even the table 3 away from us were complaining to the manager about how his server never came over.
The food is blah. Greasy pizza and fried frozen food. Not anything special My boneless wings were nothing to write home about.
The best part, our check was brought to us at $ 22.00 and when the server came back, it was $ 16.00.
Despite the massive amounts of TVs, pool tables and darts… I would pass this place for sure.

Walked in and walked right out. It was dirty and no staff greeted us. I prefer Side Pockets and BWW to this bar. When Tilted Kilt opens up down the street this place may go out of business.

This place is kinda gross. The first two times I went here, the food was okay, but I noticed that the floors and tables were kind of dirty and the service was pretty poor. I gave it the benefit of the doubt and chalked it up to being that it was fairly busy and I’m sure they were trying to wipe the tables off in a hurry to get more people in and out.
The last time I went in, it was crazy humid inside… like uncomfortably, sweaty humid. I asked the waitress if she could maybe turn the AC up and she said «yeah, ok». Needless to say, I don’t think it ever happened because it felt the same the whole time we were there. There was also a weird smell… like moldy/​old beerish smell I guess is the best way to explain it. This was also the first time I went to the bathroom there — which were also gross and out of soap? The service was extremely poor-​the only people in there were my fiancé’ and I and then maybe 5 other people who were sitting at the bar… not busy at all. It took our waitress probably 15 minutes to come to our table to get our drink order. After she brought our drinks, I had maybe 3 cubes of ice in my water, so I asked her if I could maybe get a cup of ice. The ice never came. Someone else brought us our food (who I then asked for some ice, which I finally got). The only time our waitress came back to our table was to bring us our check. Maybe we got bad service because it wasn’t a table full of guys? But it doesn’t explain why it’s such a dirty place.

This place is gross and dirty. Dust and smoke ash on everything. Bathrooms are unhygienic. The food is the greasiest bar crap around.

Great time. Great sports bar. Great service.

3 stars simply because the pizza was amazing (after about 7 drinks of course).
