We love this place. From the special salad to the eggplant parm & pizza… everything is great. Family owned with family recipes — you’ll get hooked. Try the veal if you are into that, wheat pasta, and of course the calamari and a St Louis favorite… toasted ravioli. Yum!

A perfectly authentic Italian restaurant in St. Charles. The food was delicious and the service was great. Everyone at Fratellis makes you feel like your family and the recommendation for the special of the night(chicken spedini) was fabulous. I love supporting family businesses and this place is really something special.

One of my favorite restaurants! Tucked away in a shopping plaza, it was such an incredible find! The food is absolutely delicious and I have yet to try something I don’t like. Be sure to try your salad with their house dressing… Amazing! Customer service is almost always perfect and the owner takes time personally to ensure you are enjoying your dining experience. If you love Italian food, don’t miss this place!

Best Italian restaurant in St. Charles! The salmon with chipotle sauce is amazing as well as the tutti mare! Actually better than most places on «the Hill»!!! You’ll have a hard time finishing your meal.

A couple months ago, for lunch I had the special Butternut Squash Ravioli w/Browned Butter Sage Sauce and I still think about it periodically. It was really good! I saved part of it and ordered a side salad to go(for my work lunch later) and they even packaged up some bread for a complete meal!

I think Fratelli’s is consistently good and the prices are«ok» when you factor in the very good quality. Have had multiple different entrees, pasta, and the pizza. All meals have been very good. The side salad is a nice addition. Their house Italian dressing is impressive. Have never tried dessert so cannot comment there. I feel as though the menu itemsare a little pricey, however as mentioned I think it is a good value for the quality. Fratelli’s is no more expensive compared to a Pasta House and Fratellis is much better. I just don’t get the hype about the Pasta House. I’ll make a trip to Fratellis any day.

As new St Charles residents my husband and I have struggled to find dinner places that aren’t chain restaurants. On a Saturday night, we stopped in after a long night of finding waits everywhere. There was a significant wait which was surprising since this place has been open a long time. Once we were seated the dining room was nice and comfortable. The bread was fresh. The pasta sauce on the tortellini was light and flavorful. The house salad was delicious! The pizza seemed a little undercooked so we only ate one slice. Once we reheated it the next day, it was great! Next time we’ll just ask for it well done. A pricey night but definitely worth the wait and a repeat!

Let me tell you about this place! This is one of the most incredibly authentic Sicilian restraint I’ve been to! The house salad had provel cheese garnished all over it! The house salad dressing is to die for! I recommend the incredibly strong Chardonnay! I recommend the toasted ravioli for a starter. To finalize my recommendation, please get the chicken piccata!

Love Fratelli’s! Nice, family-owned restaurant with good quality food and one of the best house salads I’ve ever had. Nice staff(a lot of folks have been there a LONG time — suggests they are treated well by ownership) and convenient location.

Went to dinner tonight and waited over 90 minutes from the time we ordered until the food was brought out. Several tables of people left because they had to wait so long. As we were getting to leave the waitress brought our food. If you don’t get there before 6 p.m. I’d go someplace unless you want to wait for over an hour to get your food.

Waited a half hour for a table which was not a problem. Waited another 10 minutes at the table before we saw our waitress. Then waited over an hour for our food and during that wait we saw our waitress one time during the entire duration. When we asked about our food after an hour and fifteen minutes we were told they were making it. Pasta and broiled chicken don’t take an hour plus to make. We asked for the manager and were told they would be out when they were done cooking. We left without eating and I won’t be back here again. The waitresses excuse for the wait was«We were busy».

I love Fratellis house salad and the house dressing! I wish I could get the recipe for the dressing! I lived in St. Charles for many years and in fact right across the highway from Fratellis and I would go there as often as I could, now I live in Tulsa, OK and it’s a little harder to get to. I always got the toasted cannelloni(which they don’t have any more) along with house salad. I was in town for thanksgiving and had lunch there, it was great except for the mold on the bread, how they over looked that is beyond my comprehension… They also raised their prices and you can only get 1 size house salad. Disappointed! I wonder if I paid for shipping if they would mail some dressing to me!!! Sure would make my Christmas great since I’m not going to be home

Went last night and it was good. The red sauce was a bit greasy, but the meatballs were good and the eggplant parm was very good. House dressing on the salad was tasty as well. Our server was not very personable, but the busboy was always there to offer drink refills, more bread, clear plates etc. Aside from that and the red sauce needing some work it was an overall good experience.

Amazing Pizza! I have been going here with my parents since I was a little kid and it was located in Ferguson. Now I take my husband and child. We usually get the pepperoni pizza and the salad with house dressing. Definitely my all time favorite pizza!

Eating here right now. All I can say is ehhhhh it’s edible. Cold butter that wouldn’t spread on cold bread. I ordered linguini con Pesci and it looked and tasted like they heated up a Michellinas frozen dinner and put it on a plate. Oh well. Can’t win me all. The cappuccino was excellent though!

Nice clean family spaghetti house. Five us us taken to table by a happy lady and we were greeted by our server inside of 3 minutes. The special was made know to us and our drink order was taken. The bussers brought the bread and butter(those little plastic packets). Shortly after that the server lady took our order even though a couple of us were indecisive and she had to come back to those people. Food came out in a reasonable amount of time and was placed in front of the correct person. Proportions were massive. Well, lets say we all took home lunch. There were 4 adults and 2 boys, 8 and 10. I love spaghetti and meatballs and while my dinner was good, the red sauce was mediocre but the pasta noodle was cooked perfect. The others had the daily special seafood pasta and the pesto pasta. The boys had chicken strips and French Fries. I sneaked a couple fries from the boys and they were tasty but had some kind of spice/salt that was just a little different but fine. The boys did not make faces at the fries so I guess they were ok. Atmosphere was a forced, strip-mall, Italian motif, that needs updating. The place is so bright you can do surgery in the dining room. Lighting needs to be subdued a lot to have any chance at all with your date, if you take one here. Although, I would not call this place a date destination. It is a family destination. Tuesday is kids-eat-free day. One adult to one kid. My bill came for the 5 of us and our server forgot to knock off the kids food but she fixed it promptly with no fuss whatsoever. Our server did a fine job and we had no complaints. She kept the boys Dr. Pepper filled, the ice tea filled and the water drinkers were kept filled. Oh, we’ll be back. As a family. 4-Stars if dining room updated a little.

After dining at some amazing places in the city I think I have become spoiled with pasta so I was very hesitant with Fratelli’s Ristorante and its strip mall location in St.Charles. I wasn’t expecting much however I was pleasantly surprised. I arrived on a Saturday night about 7pm, and this place was packed. I was told there would be a short 15 minute wait so decided to stick around. Much better than the two hour wait at Tucanos Brazilian Grill. Once seated I looked over the menu and decided to start off with the Toasted Cannelloni as an appetizer, which was good however priced at $ 8.95 I felt that they were overpriced for only four. For my entrée I decided to try the Ravioli with Meatballs, it was good the sauce was a little sweet but I wasn’t thrilled with the ravioli. The meatballs were large and had a great taste, they seemed homemade and very delicious. The waitress was amazing she was on top of things and never let our glasses get below half full, kudos to her! The décor and atmosphere was a little dated, I think they tried to hard to try to make you feel like you are dining in a Tuscan village. The walls are painted with what looks like an window overlooking an Italian hillside, that is tacky in my opinion. I am not out in Saint Charles all that often so this was probably my only time dining her, I wasn’t disappointed with my meal, but due to the location and other available options in the city I will probably not be back anytime soon. However if you are in the are and are looking for some good Italian food I would recommend giving this place a try.
