Doozles

Excellent selection of custards and concretes. Friendly staff that never looks at you strangely when requesting a concoction with several different flavors and mix-​ins. We’ve been here tons of times, and it’s always worth the trip.

The best hot fudge I have EVER had. I wish I had never found this place because it takes every ounce of will power not to come weekly! Concrete, sundaes, you can’t go wrong here.

Great chocolate malt on a warm late-​spring day that was full of sunshine around lunchtime. Cost for a small was about three bucks so why not? Quick and friendly service too.
It is a purely external factor but they get more credit from me based on the fact they share a parking lot with SugarFire. Add the two together and you have the makings of a 5-​star experience any day of the week… as long as it is warm and sunny.

I looove there cookie dough waffle cone! Their custard is so rich and sweet. And their cookie dough bites taste better and different than any other places. They also have lotsss of choices so the whole family is sure to find something!

Great ice cream choices! Best slushies in town. Almost as good as Ted Drewes, I really enjoy coming here.

Eh. Sweet and icy rather than rich & creamy. More like ice milk than real frozen custard. So for a quick cold sundae or concrete it’s like DQ, but misses the mark for quality frozen custard.

What can I say about Doozles?
The frozen yogurt is extremely good. It truly is! There is a decent selection of toppings and specialty items, including the frozen dog bone that my Bella Ray gulped down, tail nub wagging all the way.
My problem is that I just left Ted Drews last weekend, with a caramel appe sundae, which was phenomenal! Had there been a caramel apple anything on the menu, Doozles may have grabbed that 5^th star from me, but alas I have to compare them to the standard bearer, and the selection fell short.
On a positive note, the price is cheaper than say a DQ Blizzard, and tastes better too. When I can’t make it to Ted Drews, Doozles is close and just as good in terms of taste. My ONLY reluctance is that I cannot get my caramel apple sundae here.
Man, I feel like a jerk for docking a full star just for one missing sundae!

If you haven’t been to Doozles, I’m sad to say that you haven’t fully lived!
I’m biased, because I actually grew up with this place, and it’s one of the favorites! They’re stands located in a couple areas throughout the city, and you can only order from the outside. So you’ll have to pull your car up, park in front of the order station, make your order, and enjoy your custard on the front patio.
Aside from having the best frozen custard in St. Louis, my favorite part about this place is that it’s open very late. After a long day of work, running errands, and spending time out with the family, there are few things better than seeing the Doozles sign shining up the road!
At Doozles, you’re able to choose from a wide range of delicious custards and mix & match toppings into them. There are already pre-​mixed signature offerings to choose from, such as Strawberry Cloud and Smore, or you can go crazy and fuse together any flavors you like to produce something original!
The staff is always helpful, and the service is quick; if you happen to show up on a warm summer Friday night, you may have to wait behind a line of people. Believe me though, the custard will be worth it. Just like me, I’m sure that once you try it once, it will earn a spot on your favorites list.

Doozle’s is my fave custard place. I’ve loved everything I’ve tried especially the Pecan Crunch and Strawberry shortcake sundae… the pumpkin pie sundae in Autumn is delish. I don’t like their cookie dough, it’s pretty tasteless, but I’m also really picky about cookie dough so that’s probably just me :)

Have really liked doozles for a long time. I frequent places that never let me down. I use to live in Florissant by the doozles there. I was happy to find out when we moved to Saint Charles that there was another. It’s always good in the summers. We go at least 4 to 5 times a month.

The family and I decided to try something new to them, and something I hadn’t had in years. Fond memories of Doozle’s in Florissant got me to thinking that I should try them again.
We ordered 3 custards with different mix-​in toppings. Apparently the freezer wasn’t cooling off the custard mix enough because all three were pretty ‘soupy’. The flavor of the custard wasn’t really anything to rave about either. I was fairly disappointed since I would always go to the Florissant location when I was a kid and loved it. Unfortunately not now.

I still have yet to try their frozen custard, because I can’t go past there without getting a cherry slushy. I’ve only gotten cherry, but it is by far the best slushy I have ever had in my life. I love this place just for that.

Love the frozen custard and the employees are great! Perfect place to unwind at the end of the night and have a non fat treat.

Every time my fiancée and I go we are happy. The staff is super sweet and always smiling. The frozen custard is delicious, the special sundas are wonderful, and the hard ice cream is sensational. Wuth the price of DQ going up and their portions getting smaller Doozle’s is still got it going on! Best part is you can get a frozen custard treat for your dog too!
