I’ve only just started learning about bee keeping. Being an avid honey consumer for the majority of my life, and recently becoming involved with someone who’s into bee keeping, I thought it’d be fun.
And… it totally was! Whether you’re a new-​bee or an experienced beekeeper, from hobbyist or commercially-​minded, I highly recommend checking this out.
There were classes for beginners like Beekeeping Gadgets and Colony Inspections, to the more advanced sessions like Queen Rearing and Nosema and Tracheal Mite dissections. There were ‘softer’ classes like bees wax candle making or mead making, and tracks for African Bee first responders or Honey Judge training.
Seriously, everything and anything you ever wanted to know about keeping, working or living with bees.
It’s offered yearly, so put this one on the calendar for next year if you’re interested.
