After a morning of dealing with Leonard’s «customer service» department(I would choose another name — they offer no service, but instead are unengaged, uninformed and impolite) and an afternoon spent waiting for a call back that never came, I’ve decided to downsize my order to the minimum possible and have another set of photos taken elsewhere. Not because I don’t like my daughter’s photos — they are surprisingly nice for Senior pictures, and we were planning to order some of each pose. It’s because the two men I spoke to in CS — Richard and Scott(?) — were woefully inept at providing answers to some very basic questions concerning the company’s website. Because Richard couldn’t manage an answer that didn’t include the words«probably», «usually», «generally» or «maybe» — all of which cast doubt on the veracity of his reply. Because their ‘best practice’ was to transfer me to another department… or just plain hang up(Scott). Because the department to which I was transferred was too overwhelmed, I suppose, with other annoyed parents, to answer any one of the several messages I left for a call back. Because the website is laggy and outdated and doesn’t — if the two CS reps are to be believed — offer me a large size preview of my daughter’s picture with a custom background.(The background on huge picture of the lily white blonde girl changes, but my daughter’s remains a thumbnail. Ridiculous. My daughter is neither blonde nor lily white… nor are, I’d imagine, the majority of their customers.) So — nice photos, but abysmal customer service. The CS reps managed to turn what should have been a pleasant experience for me, and could have been a profitable transaction for Leonard’s, into the opposite of both.

I agree with the previous comments, a BIGRIPOFF!!! Also, the pictures are totally disappointed. Nothing more then snopshoots. The lighting is terrible, the kids preparation for the moment is zero. No any art value in their pictures, but prices are TOP. They took several tens of thousands dollars from the Leila G. Davis Elementary Clearwater kids this year, shame. I will address this question together with several tens of other dissatisfied parents directly to the school principal and Pinellas County School Board.

This is the first year that my children’s school has used Leonard’s and I am already disappointed. $ 8 shipping and handling to order one group picture??? There was no option to order a group shot on the original picture day form. So sad. Even LifeTouch never pulled that.

We are trying to order our daughters Senior pictures from Leonards Photography in St. Augustine, FL, the pricing is ridiculously high. Their website, , has a viewing area for Senior photos. 1 photo 8×10 is $ 50! So for 4 pictures, it would cost $ 200! If you have one photo emailed to you, the price goes up to $ 75 per picture! Packages START at $ 250 and go up to $ 800! I saw a CD they have available, so I thought I could buy a CD, listed for $ 175, then I could have all the poses, and we take care of the printing ourselves. This is a much more affordable option. I couldn’t believe what they told me over the phone, the CD’s only contain low resolution photos that will print wallet size only! You cannot print them any bigger, or they will become blurry. I said I want the high resolution CD so we can print larger pictures and share with our family, the answer was«We don’t sell the high resolution CD». «You mean I can pay $ 175 for CD that will only allow you to print wallet size photos, and is basically useless?» They answer was«Yes»! This is a rip off if I have ever seen one. We cannot afford these prices, but desperately want some nice photos of our daughters one and only high school graduation. We are trapped, I am angry, and we may not be able to get these photos that are such an important milestone in our lives. We feel that Leonards photography, based out of St. Augustine, FL is taking advantage of families such as ours, the price mark up on photos is so ridiculous. I am sure they have not had a child of their own graduate high school, because if they did, they would know about all of the added expenses that come with the senior year. And to add ridiculous prices to their photos is just heartless.

We were disappointed to find out that digital pictures take more than 3 weeks to receive. There was nothing on the website or confirmation email to indicate this, and when I sent an original inquiry about the time frame(which I emailed the day of my order), I was told they normally are available within five business days. Now, two weeks later, I find out that I was misinformed and that the pics we need for our graduation announcements are going to be late. I also experienced some frustration with not having my calls returned.
