The smoke of cigarette is really bad. It’s a hole on the wall spot. If it wasn’t for all the cigarette smell we would had stayed. They have pool tables. And a jukebox.

This is my favorite bar when I go to St Augustine Florida. We just happened in there one night after a day at the beach, and was taken care of by the most friendly staff in the whole state of Florida. We felt very comfortable there and were quite surprised how good the food was. Heather was a stitch and entertained us with her quick wit, great bartending skills, and a unbelievable story about a picture that hangs there of a man in a coonskin cap and his dog. Just ask Heather. She never gets tired of telling that story. Can’t wait to make it back there again in the near future. Great little locals bar with the best wings I ever had.

Drinks are strong & decently priced. Fries are tasty but kitchen looks dirty. Became a daily stop on our vacation for a cheap buzz.

To say it’s a dive bar would be accurate and more than generous… however, I absolutely love this place! Friendly locals, a very accommodating staff, and such wonderful owners. We were staying at jax beach with an ocean view and made it a point to come back here. The bartender even allowed us to watch the UK basketball game and made sure that we were well taken care of. My friend enjoyed the wings and I enjoyed the atmosphere immensely. If You need a strong drink and entertaining locals this is your place!

Stumbled into this place after being stranded by the damned Old Town Trolley. Glad that happened because I liked this place. Friendly bartenders and cool, laid back atmosphere. Add on the decent drink prices and we have a winner.

There are all kinds of bars. Sports bars, wine bars, cowboy bars, beer halls, fern bars, and dive bars. The Giggling Gator falls mostly into the last category, and that’s not a bad thing. I’ve been stopping here for the past 15 years, and the patrons are a mix of locals, fishermen and shrimpers, college students, né’er-do-wells, and misguided tourists, but… it works. There are an assortment of TVs, usually providing some form of sports entertainment, and a couple of pool tables, and 3 or 4 dart lanes. A few tables. The bar. And the crowd. If you like people watching, it’s hard to go wrong here. Full bar, a block from the post office on King street, about 12 feet from where«touristy» meets«sketchy.» Say hi to your hosts Fred, Heather, and Tony — they’re as friendly as you are. For the budget conscious: Drinkin’ with Lincoln, $ 5 All You Care To Drink Miller Lite, 9p-11p on… Tuesdays? They’ve recently opened the outside deck. The weather is gettin’ better…
