Great place for lunch on our way to the Alligator Farm. I had a chicken salad plate that was just right. I had the ranch dressing, wish it had been home made, but was directly out of the bottle. My husband had a daily special burrito that he said was excellent. The wait staff and«Sheila» the cook were very friendly and offered good insights into the St. Augustine area. They do not take credit cards which is too bad. Most people traveling want to be able to use a credit card.

An amazing local diner with fresh options. We arrived 15 minutes before breakfast ended at 11(it’s so good that they run out of items that are made that morning!). I ordered the quiche, and the server brought out an extra slice due to the limited menu. She even brought out a sample of the special for the day. Everything was fresh and homemade, the service was personable and excellent. We are in town for only a few days and plan on coming back… A heads up. It’s cash only. We had to run to the ATM across the street.

The food is good. We had the breakfast skillet and blueberry pancakes. They are very good. The dining room is very small with seating for only 16. It is tight. It could use a cleaning. That bring said, the food is good and the prices reasonable.

Great little breakfast place! The food was delicious and the service was top notch. It’s very small(only 5 tables inside) but that adds to its charm. The portions are large and the price is very reasonable. We’ll definitely come back next time we’re in town.

It’s hard to beat a family run place so small you can watch the owner cooking your breakfast. Simple, perfectly cooked food served with a smile and maybe a bit of sass if you ask for it! We ate here 2 days in a row on this trip and will be back next time we are in town. Don’t confuse this place with others with similar names. Located directly in front of the light house on A1A.

Discovered this tiny hole in a wall breakfast restaurant last year, and just went back. It’s as I remembered. The food is so good, and the prices are reasonable. No credit cards. There are only 4 or 5 tables inside. Sheila the owner and cook is a delight, and friendly when time permits. Breakfast and lunch are served, until the food runs out. The home fries have a great taste, fluffy scrabbled eggs, good bacon and toast… the all American breakfast.

Little hole in the wall– Cash only, but very reasonable prices. Only a few tables inside and out, however we were able to snag a table inside on a Sunday morning at around 10. I had the biscuits and gravy with 2 eggs, home fries and an extra side of grits. Wife had eggs, bacon, toast and grits– Great tasting home cooking– $ 20 incl tip, can’t beat that. Would return again, especially given the super friendly staff.

Wonderful breakfast. Some of the best pancakes I’ve had at a restaurant; tall, but still very fluffy and crisp edges, not doughy at all. Eggs were clearly cooked in bacon grease. A big plate of food for a solid price. The best part is the family atmosphere. Literally 2 people running the 16 seat establishment, with what appeared to be actual family and friends passing in and out. Very cozy and warm atmosphere. Perfect for a vacation breakfast.

Had a phenomenal breakfast here. The skillet and the quiche shrimp with grits(& I never order grits) were awesome. Best of all we were lucky enough to share the Village table with Cookie, a local who was a regular and even knew where the knick knacks on the wall were from. Cozy but well worth the squeeze.

Big«Breakfast» sign out front. You should stop. Stopped on a whim and loved it. Had fresh made shrimp quiche, grits and tomatoes along with walnut pancakes. Sheila cooks and makes whatever combo you want. Great diner and great prices. I highly recommend this place. 20 minutes in and out.

Quaint and cute place! Only about 12 seats in the house. I can see the kitchen and it looks like one lady cooking up a storm. Kind of reminds me of mom’s home cooking style. Quaint little café. I love it so far. Great coffee too! I got the pumpkin pancakes and bacon. The food is AMAZING. Note: CASHONLY. they were very very nice about letting us come back with it since I only had a credit card. The waitress was a sweetie.

Went here for breakfast and the food was great. Only criticism(and reason for only 4 stars) is that the speed of service was extremely slow — we were there for a good 15 minutes before our order was taken. There is essentially one person taking the orders, doing the cooking, serving etc etc. There was one other elderly lady there but I really couldn’t figure out what her function was. Also, maybe the one doing all the work should learn some customer service skills… Some quotes from our experience: ‘You two want coffee?’ That was the greeting we got on entering the café When she came to take our order she addressed my wife with ‘what do you want?’ And after taking my wife’s order looked at me and said ‘and you?‘ It’s difficult to relay the cold, bluntness of the interaction but maybe we could have had a ‘Good morning’, ‘How are you?’, just some sort of polite greeting, or is that too much to ask??? Again, food was great, but the service left a lot to be desired!

Also called Sheila’s kitchen — the breakfast is really good and at a great price. CASHONLY. This place is tiny but we didn’t feel cramped with all but 1 of the 4 ½ tables filled. Service was as good as it gets. We stopped while out on a motorcycle ride and had a filing breakfast. Awesome start to our day!

A nice quiet atmosphere with outside seating. Sheila was very friendly and she serves a very delicious breakfast. Excellent spicy sausage patty and a great seasoning on the home fried potatoes. A very good breakfast stop.
