Panda China

I’m still not sure what this place is called. It’s got «Hibachi Buffet» on the lighted sign out in front along the strip mall. But all of the menus and place settings say «Panda China». Either way, I’ve been here twice and have yet to be impressed by anything in here. I guess I could give it points for how large the dining area and buffet area is. But the food selection, freshness and overall service here is just weak in general. I’ve had better of about everything they serve here. You want real hibachi? Well good luck because apparently they only open the grill once or twice a week during specific unpublished hours. I like that I can order beer here, but the last Sam Adams Boston Lager I ordered here was notched with a Best By date of six months ago! On top of that the server just left me the unopened bottle and a glass. I had to ask him for an opener!
So don’t come in here expecting a delectable selection of amazing dishes. They are either sickly looking food lying in heat baths or off-​tasting regular dishes. In fact, better yet, don’t come in here at all.

Have been here since the renovation a few times and food was much improved. However, after we ate here on Friday, we both got sick within an hour after eating and got progressively worse. Some dishes seemed much greasier than usual — we won’t be trying this place again.

The place has under gone a huge renovation. They have added some sushi and a Hibachi bar. We tried the buffet this time. Lots of variety.
