I love this place. The wait staff work like a well-​oiled machine. The food is more than adequate. The drinks are reasonable.
Honestly, the service here rivals, and in some regards surpasses, the quality of service I’ve received at upscale bars.

Great spot for a drink on a Friday night. Great spot for a drink any night of the week for that matter! I have never had a bad drink here. Good fish and chips on a Friday night and great corned beef sandwiches. The Niven burger is great.
I bring my bride here all the time. I like the carpet on the walls, kind of tranquel. When the juke box is not playing, you can hear a multitude of swearing, but then again, this is Saginaw. The place is very dimly lit and not a good place for kids, which is a plus!
Great waitresses, Tori and Holly and others, and the owner Bobby is a great guy too. Not that I smoke, but I sure miss the old pull handle cigarette machine on the north wall. Always a different mix of patrons here.

Go see Tori and have her make you an «elbow», also, if you’re there for lunch, get the scrambled burger, crab cheese or buffalo balls. All great options. Friendly staff & a favorite local hang out. I can’t say enough great things about this place :)

I had gone here a couple times as friends from work said it was good for lunch but I haven’t seen anything good about it. The interior was a little gross. Dark, dirty, a standard dive. People smoke right outside the door and it comes straight in. The food was not very good either time and it’s not dirt cheap to make up for it. No thanks.

Despite the dark interior and plaid walls, we were surprised at how good the sandwiches were. The patty melt and the turkey rueben were really good and the meat was very good quality. Service was good

It’s a must visit whenever I’m in Saginaw! Recommend: garbage burger, pizza burger, crab cheese. Yum. The plaid carpet on the walls is key to the experience.
