Eight bones down the drain and for something not even Thai! Food court Asian food, Americanized and over sweetened and salted. I asked about Basil Chicken and Pad Thai and got a blank response from the lady. Two staple Thai dishes and she doesn’t know them(WTF?). Also I should add both staple dishes were not seen on their menu or as an available warm option. It’s all because of those free samples. This stall hadn’t any business so I ventured over to see. The counter lady offered me samples of everything on a toothpick. So I felt obligated. Mango chicken was sitting out way too long. Somewhat soggy, almost crunchy exterior in a mango sweet and sour sauce. Combo’d it with veg fried rice and BBQ chicken. This BBQ chicken is more like the Midwestern mall food court staple, Bourbon chicken. Except this had been sitting under the food lamps far too long and started to stiffen in an unpleasant manner. Kind of like the quality you’d expect at any careless Chinese food buffet. If I did it again, I’d have the veg fried rice with a veggie side. But then again, I don’t plan to eat at the food court next time. I knew we should’ve gone to Intermission Deli instead.
