High Service level at the Firearms counter. Best in the area, IMHO. Best selection too. Both Guys were top-notch in all ways, I;ll be back, cause that’s important — and it is not one-size-fits-all for everyone, like at some other places. And NO attitude too.

Stopped to look at a new gun, got there and 2 people were working the gun counter, both helping one person with 5 people(not counting myself) waiting for service. Finally one guy broke away and helped the gentleman that was first in line, then disappeared. So now one person working the counter, still with the customer that was there when I arrived, 5 people waiting… I left. No sale for them. I’ll take my business to Cabelas and/or Williams Gun in Auburn.

I normally prefer a Gander Mountain to Cabelas. But today when we went to buy a crossbow the gentleman was unwilling to give us a break on it. He stated he didn’t use the prices the manufacturer did so he could not give us a break. We then left and went to Cabela’s who did give us a break. On the same bow gave us an extra $ 50 off. Plus if you signed up for texting you got another $ 10 off a $ 50 purchase. So we save $ 60 there.

Very friendly staff here. They were having a «Grand Opening» which was more like a «Grand Re-Opening» as this location has been here for quite a while. As many firearms enthusiasts know, ammo is hard to come by currently. They had a lot of rifle and pistol ammo available. Apparently they«throttle» their back room cache as they only put a limited amount out each day and have the typical 2 – 5 box restrictions. I also noticed P-mags available for purchase in abundance, obviously almost twice what they used to be.
