Applebee’s

Took my family for lunch got to choose a table since so slow flies all over, move to another table took over 2 waitress to check where our waiter was, bout 10 mins later got Cody order drinks place order at same time, BBQ wings app was fresh, oriental salad was big and tasty, my kids chix tenders were good but my plate a 12 Oz wood fire steak was bland n tough as wood, waiter did offer another steak, I refused, but was only able to remove only 15 from my order, if ur looking for a tender steak, keep going pass this place!

We used to love Applebee’s but it’s food has become sub par in the last few years. For some reason the food always seems to come out warm not hot. The staff are okay, not really memorable.

Not sure why all the negative comments/​reviews. I’ve visited this restaurant on several occasions and never had any thing but good service. Granted, some of the food is not 5 star, but this is a chain restaurant. One thing I will note, do not order any of their steak entrees. I don’t know where they get the meat, but it is definitely not Grade A Angus. Other than that, everything else I’ve had at this location is decent. Oh, and I usually sit at the bar, so service is pretty fast.

SLOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOW. It’s midnight, why so slow!!! There was one seated table and 4 dudes at the bar… What the BEEEEEEEEEEP! Sat at the bar, even the bartender was slow. I wanted to go back there and just pour my drinks myself! Their burger was good though, idk if it came out after awhile or in a short amount of time, I was busy trying to enjoy my blue moon that took forever to be poured.

About as poor eating experience as anyone could have at a chain restaurant. I think the food and service was even better at the airport one i visited last. Not sure what they try to pass off as steak but I’ll never try that again.

I’m very disappointed in this place. They have a sign that says Military discount. But only for Mondays. I guess the military works only on Mondays not every day of the week. My husband worked everyday and some weekends and they couldn’t give us a discount. Very disappointed…

The service was slow, I ordered an appetizer and it was cold, whoever heard of cold nachos? My meal felt more like an old TV dinner, drinks took forever on refills and if I had to listen to the Winey D-​bag next to me about how his love life sucked I would have hanged myself in the bathroom

We keeping giving this location a chance and it is consistently bad.
We ordered appetizers, which took over 30 minutes to arrive. This was on a Monday afternoon and the place wasn’t busy. Never got a refill and the service was generally unfriendly. Our waiter never returned after we received our food. Good thing you can pay at the table via the tablet-​kiosk.
Food was the usual frozen fare that one would expect from Applebee’s, and served only slightly warm at your table. Our BBQ «boneless wings» we’re served with a cup of ranch dressing thrown so sloppily on the plate that ranch dressing has spilled onto most of the wings. FYI, BBQ and ranch don’t go well together. We would have sent it back but never saw our server again.
Please do yourself a favor and skip this Applebee’s if at all possible. I know choices are limited in this neighborhood but a short drive will reveal much better places to dine.

Very slow with getting our food to our table-​40 minutes. The food was okay. I would not recommend this restaurant if you’re in a hurry to eat quickly.

Made the mistake of going back here. After ordering two small appetizers and our meals we sat for thirty minutes with no food. 99% sure that the waiter forgot to put our order in after seeing him look at our table with a surprised face and heading immediately over to the computer where he frantically typed. I left a five dollar bill on the table for our drinks and we walked out. Please god bring better sit down restaurants to Saginaw.

Ordered curbside dinner a few weeks ago… The «brisket» nachos were soggy, and the brisket was all just globs of grizzle and fat. The riblets looked overly processed, worse than McDonald’s nuggets!
Yesterday, we just wanted to easy quick dinner after a long week. First we were told it’d be a 15 minute wait when their were a few open tables that needed bussed, with 3 hostess just standing around. Soup was served cold… Salad was supposed to have pecans, and there were none… And dressing only poured in half the salad. This place is convenient so we keep giving it «another try» but food is steadily declining. Saginaw needs more sit down options. I guarantee that’s the only reason this place is still open.

Well, where do I start? Maybe with the 50 minutes it took to eat, or the subpar lunch I had. Too many negatives to outweigh any slight positive… Our waiter was friendly at least…

The only good thing about Applebee’s is their sangria. I really want to like this place since it close to my area but I have yet to taste anything I like from here, just disappointing.

This place does not deserve even 1 star. We did have a large group of about 20 half of them children, but it was a Wednesday night at 830. It took forever to get our drinks after we ordered and once she finally took our order it took even longer for our food. We were there almost 2 hours. Once we finally got our food it was cold and disgusting, my husband had the Mac N cheese with chicken and the bacon was literally raw (I have a picture of it). What really pissed me off is the manager came over to our children and told them to keep it down and then walked away. We hadn’t seen him all night and then he comes and scolds our children. Maybe if you paid more attention to your kitchen and not our kids then we wouldn’t have to wait 2 hours for food and our children wouldn’t get antsy. They were being good considering, but who can sit still that long and wait for food… Definitely not a bunch of 7 year Olds. We will never be back and I will tell everyone about this horrible experience. Get new management and maybe this place will have a chance.

Horrible food that was cold after waiting about 40 minutes to get to our table. Kids pizza looked straight out of the freezer with the cheese still frozen, spinach/​artichoke dip was a weird color and ice cold, their new nachos has zero pork on them, and churros were hard and crunchy! We had two small children and they were losing their minds because they were so hungry. Only some of the order came out and then the rest came out 5 minutes later. Choose a different place to eat!

Worst restaurant in Saginaw. Do not waste your time. Management obviously needs to pull their heads out of their you-​know-​whats. We sat there the other night and not only did we have to wait an extremely long 30+ minutes for 2 appetizers, that were wrong when delivered, we were then overcharged. We heard «I’m sorry» or «I apologize «about 20 times while sitting there from the waitstaff to other customers. I know the manager was aware of the mistakes bc he had to fix it. He never once acknowledged us or the inconvenience and never even stopped by any tables to see how it was going. So I think he was just avoiding the customers. Never will we go here again.

Both me and my sister after ordering well done hamburgers ended up with food poisoning that very night (my roommate and niece who ate something different did not), and when I emailed the establishment about this they forwarded my email to corporate and I never heard a word. The bill from care now made my 10 dollar burger almost 100 bucks. Will never go back again and have made people aware of the poor service and terrible food quality. If I could give you zero stars I would.

Just left & am very pleased with the experience. Not a lot of options for a sit down place in Saginaw so I didn’t let the bad reviews deter me. Sat at the bar– the bartender, Jay, was very friendly and funny. Told a few jokes and made it a much better meal for us.
We ordered a steak and chicken & shrimp from the 2 for $ 25 menu. Was the food spectacular? No. Was it way better than I expected? Absolutely.
Will I be back? You betcha!

Same as most other locations. Decent food, loud tvs, hit or miss service, and what seems like an unordinary amount of kids yelling.
Applebee’s isn’t bad if you’re close by and want to grab a bite. Not somewhere I’d go after work and grab a beer to watch a game.
