My original Christmas Tree Shop. Where I go to buy things that I really don’t need.

This is the original store in the chain, and definately the prettiest one i’ve ever shopped in. The outside is gorgeous, with a beautiful windmill, and fantastic landscaping. The inside is home to a menagerie of fantastic items at outrageously great prices. The staff were all warm and friendly, and the shopping experience was great.

I have always loved the Christmas Tree Shop and have been to many of their stores all over MA. I’ve been to this one many times. The past few times I’ve been here it’s been going down hill. But, this time it was the worst I’ve seen it. I know, it’s «Christmas Time» but there’s no excuse for a store to be like this… ever !! For starters there’s no carriage return in the parking lot or in the store. So, on the day that I went it was raining like crazy. Trying to find a parking spot is like winning the lottery. Once you do, you have to move carriages before you can pull into your spot. Adding to this being disabled and trying to find a Handicapoed spot open. Once we find one, we wrangle a cart that looked like it was found at the bottom of the Charles River(not just BC it was soaked). So, I asked Customer Service when we walk in if she had anything that I could dry the carriage off with. She gave me a dirty look at rudely said«No». I said«nothing, ok». If that wasn’t a sign of how this trip was going to go. So I go in the bathroom and grab a few paper towels to help a little. Now, on to the actual«shopping«. The store is a fire trap. There’s no room for people, carriages to move at all without knocking things over. The isles are small as it is. Add it being a total mess. Things thrown all over the floor, A good majority of the items there were junk. The ornaments were garbage. Most of their Christmas stuff was actually. I did find a few travel size toiletries and steps for my dog .i also found battery operated window lights. At check out I asked the cashier what their return policy was on opened items bc I wasn’t sure if the steps for my dog were going to be high enough. She said«it probably says it on your receipt. Read that and you’ll get your answer». I said«It would be easier to know before I buy the steps«. She said«mm hmm«…And kept on ringing. I should have just told her to stop ringing and walked out. But, I didn’t and bought the items. When I got home I opened the boxes of window lights I bought. Let me tell you that if you don’t use a napkin to take the ring and bulb off(so you can put batteries in) you will tear your hand up. I know the 2pk of these lights were $ 2.99(that’s all they had) but these things don’t even work. I get a flicker of light on a good night and all of the batteries are fresh out of the brand name batteries I just bought at CVS. Plus the batteries jiggle and the bulbs are all tilted. One light broke in the box. I know it’s Chrustmas Time so of course it’s going to be busy, a little messy and some what impatient staff. However, I do «Love a bargain ». But I also love products that work, a clean and orderly store, staff who are helpful with extremely easy questions and a safe environment. If the Fire Deoartment hasn’t been to this store recently to inspect they should. When we got to our car after all of the shopping fun we find 2 carriages right up against the front passenger door. If they had a carriage return area they might not have happened. I don’t think I’ll be back to this Christmas Tree Shop.

Everything you want when you really don’t need anything! I live in California. We don’t have Christmas Tree Shops here. When I’m visiting my best friend in Mass every two or three years, coming here is a must! I love this store. They have everything, literally, everything. And it’s really organized. And the prices are great. My latest score, an electric fly swatter for $ 3. Bring Christmas Tree Shop to California!

For cheap goods, food, and stuff you thought you don’t need, this place is great. I walked in on to kill time as we were using the location as a meeting point. I walked out with a beach umbrella($ 11), a baby pool($ 5), orange/coconut water($.39) and some other items I was not planning to buy. They have so much packed into a small store. Customer service was great. The store itself was packed, but the checkout was pretty quick considering mostly elderly staff are behind the registers. I love this place.

Sadly, in my opinion the Christmas Trees shops have evolved from a off price gift shop into a mainly a clearing house for low cost goods. The stores, including this one, use to looked well maintained with polished floors and«well displayed» merchandise. These stores seemed geared toward both tourists and locals with the visually interesting architecture. After about 10 years I revisited this location and brought friends from Texas. The products were crowded together on messy display shelves. The large center piece windows in the back were blocked with merchandise and the windows needed cleaning. They have great bargains and a good product mix but I miss the time they presented their items in a more inviting environment.

Who can resist the Xmas Tree Shops?! Been going here with my mom and aunts since I was a kid and they have definitely passed the love for Xmas Tree to me. The windmill makes it all the better nd rustic, set high on the hill before the Sagamore Bridge. Thankfully this shop has yet to turn over into the a pseudo-CVS with its cosmetic and hair care stuff. It’s still the cheap, last on the market type items that I love. You can literally go in this store and hit everything from different needs; snacks, hair ties, shampoo, beach towels, dog toys, you name it, they prob have some weird quirky version of it. Try it out, but beware the bathrooms located around the side. Stick to your home bowl

Cool store. Weird address. Here’s some directions: From Bourne Bridge: Take Route 25 over the Bourne Bridge. Go almost all the way around the rotary. Exit the rotary onto Route 6A. Go several miles along 6A until you pass under the Sagamore bridge. Just past that turn right at the CTS sign. Go right into our driveway and up the hill to the store. From the Sagamore Bridge: Cross over the Sagamore Bridge and take Exit 1. Bear right, and continue past shopping center to intersection. Take right onto Route 6A. Continue under the bridge. Almost immediately, take a right into Christmas Tree Shops driveway, and continue up the hill to parking lot.

I found the best nicknacks here, tshirts, pottery, even salt water taffy. This place is a FIND! Reminds me of an upscale Big Lots!

Christmas Tree Shops just rock my world. Everything is so so cheap! This is the destination for plates, dishes, kitchen utensils and lots of random decorative stuff you probably don’t really need but just can’t pass up. They also have some good deals on shampoo and soap and nail polish. They change the stock over a lot so you never know what you will find. This location is pretty good but there are other closer to Boston. The one by IKEA in Stoughton is pretty good too.

This place has it. If you need something cheap for yourself or a present for someone this place has it, whatever it is you are looking for. Decorations, candles, frames, kitchen stuff, furniture, and plenty of knick knacks. Even if you don’t want to buy anything you should browse, you will probably find something you like or want and you can afford to buy it… just watch out for tourists and buses in the summer… it can get hectic.
