Polished

My daughter and I went to Polished for a pedicure and were very pleased with the service and friendliness of the owners. Twin and her husband were very professional and although the price was a little more than I usually pay I feel it was worth it. We were offered a glass of wine… very nice touch. Also, a few days after my pedicure I hit my toe and chipped the polish. Twin touched it up free of charge.

Polished is Perfection!
I am grateful to Yi (one of the owners) for the best manicure of my life! I’m still surprised at how happy a great manicure can make me!
I was in Safety Harbor for a week long retreat (at the ‘big spa’ in town.) I wanted to get away from there — and decided to have my nails done elsewhere.
While this may seem like an odd comment, i’m the co-​owner of a fine dining restaurant: Yi’s skill was matched by his genuine concern for me. There is nothing that replaces authentic, heartfelt hospitality.
My only wish? That i’d have had enough time to schedule the pedi before I left town, too!

Used them a couple times. The owner seemed quiet. He was led by his wife who was phony, bossy, uptight & ran behind schedule.
The girl who does the pedicures was funny & nice. The prices are out the roof. $$$

Today was my first visit to Polished.
First, to get an appointment, I left a message for them on a Monday — when they were closed — and my call was returned first thing on Tuesday morning. Very responsive and accommodating!
I arrived at 10am for the first appointment of the day. The salon was very clean, which is important to me. I was greeted immediately upon opening the door. I had a manicure with shellac. The appointment was quick (for shellac), but not rushed. Twin does a great job with cuticles as well as the French manicure. In other salons they slap on the white polish for tips, then trim it back with acetone. Twin painted them on meticulously and perfectly. She’s obviously very experienced and talented!
The salon has a very professional and relaxing atmosphere. Customers and technicians were talking to each other; customers were interacting with each other, but there was none of the loud and distracting chatter between technicians that I’ve experienced elsewhere.
The salon is very focused on cleanliness and safety. I saw the instruments used on me come right out of the sterilizer, and go right back into sterilization when my manicure was finished. The files and buffers are used only once and then discarded. This is extremely important to me as I know people who have contracted infections from manicures & pedicures in other venues.
While I was at Polished, I received recommendations (from the employees and the customers) on where to go for great fresh produce (Joe’s Farm Fresh Produce in Oldsmar), the best fried chicken (Southern Fresh in Safety Harbor), and brunch — especially for the blue crab benedict (The Living Room on Main in Dunedin).
I was delighted with my experienced at Polished and will definitely go back whenever I am in town. Thank you Twin, Yi and Leta for a great experience!

Absolute perfection. I was in town for a wedding. I didn’t have time to get my nails done before I left, and the big spa in town was all booked up, so I called the next nearest place. I’m so glad I did, because Polished is perfect!!!
I’m very picky about my manicure. Especially now with gel color. So often the manicure itself is cut short (or skipped all together!!!) to make time for the gel application. This results in a sloppy manicure that I can’t even remove without great effort.
Not the case at Polished. When I made my appointment, they explained that the manicure was separate from the gel application: two different procedures. This made me really happy, because I knew they were going to take the time to do the job right. And so they did! My cuticles just as flawless as the polish!
If I lived in the area, this would be my regular salon, no question.

I am visiting from California and needed my shellac redone. The girl was very informative and taught me a lot about the best shellac products. I am very pleased and will definitely return when I come back to safety harbor! A++ Polished!
