Carolina Mike’s Kayaking Adventures

My wife booked a sunset kayak trip in Tarpon Springs bayou for our 5^th anniversary. She even chatted with the owner about the fact that both his and our anniversary were close to each other. We called 10 min before our scheduled time, 3pm, to advise that we were running 10 min later due to poor traffic. There was no answer to their main phone number. We arrived at their store front in Tarpon and the office was closed. We again call the main number and this time it was answered by the owner. We stated we were outside and wanted to know where to go. He stated that he closed early and went home. He said that he did now «remember that there was something I had to do today». Are you kidding me. What kind of business model is this, talk about worst business practices. He then went into say that there was «a lot of stuff to do in Tarpon». At that time I hung up. He called back 10 minuets later and left a half apology on my voice mail saying he would comp a tour on the future. WTF. Thanks Carolina Mikes for your stelar services. We won’t be coming back.
