Looking Sharp

Needed a hair cut. I wanted something new, but didn’t know what I wanted. So I just picked the highest rated barber shop near my office and went over.
Fortunately, they have their own parking lot, and they take walk ins. I told the barber to keep the sides short and do whatever he wanted to the top. He was friendly enough, tried to make small talk, but I was kinda dead from work. He kept turning the chair away from the mirror, so I couldn’t really see what he had planned for my head, but I was very pleased with the end result.
I’ll go back.

So I decided to suck it up and try a new spot for a change. Why drive 20 – 30 minutes away, when I can simply go down the street and try a new place out? Hey, if I don’t like it, I won’t go back right?
So the parking lot is to the right of the entrance. I walk in, some couches, a tv, and chairs. Not bad, as I sit down, the barber (Mike) finishes with his last customer. I’m next already? Was I there even 10 seconds? So I sit in the barber chair and I tell him what I want, and not only was he fast… It was really good. Bring cash, as it’s cash only. And don’t forget to tip the guy. With hands like that, we can’t afford to lose him!
And like all places I go to, I always gotta spot something bad… he’s a Cowboys fan! LOL But honestly, it was a great experience… I’ll definitely be back.

So ill be honest here i’ve been to a handful of barbers in the area, and in my current area of Connecticut. I cant stand getting a hair cut from people who wont listen to me.
Me: Hey just a little off the top
Barberman: K. Ill shave you clean
Mike has been cutting my hair for about a year now and i have zero complaints. He extremely friendly and listens to what you want.
There are two other barbers now who i havent personally gotten haircuts from but havent heard any complaints. One of the barbers is an older fellow so you really have the whole spectrum.
The younger barber for newer haircuts, the older barber for classic styles.
Its a win win
