I ordered twice from here and both times they got my order wrong. I called Gennaro who I believe is the owner and he makes excuses that they are busy. Are you kidding me, if you make food for take out have a little more pride in customer service. He tells you to come back, like their convenient. They are on rt 46 in a horrible parking lot. I got robbed for the missing sandwich so I guess I will never go there again. i refuse to keep going back until they get it right.

I came in with my boyfriend about 20 minutes before closing on a Wednesday night. I ordered a cheese calzone to go with the main guy behind the counter. After a few minutes after, a waitress confirmed my order & that I was not waiting to be served at a table. The owner in the back made sure I was being helped as well. After another waitress plus the main guy behind the counter who I ordered my meal with confirmed my meal & each person asking what I ordered, it passed 20 minutes. The guy behind the counter said there multiple calzones orders so it was only be a few more minutes. While I was waiting he was chit chatting with the owner & drank a glass of wine with him(they looked related?). As I saw all calzone orders go to sitting tables, the cook whispers to the guy I ordered from, which I overhear that I did not have a calzone ready. The waitress asked me if I had paid yet & after replying no, it is then confirmed that my calzone was not even made, I ask«what I am suppose to eat now»(I had not eaten since lunch) the guy shrugs his shoulders in shock saying«I’m sorry». They all stumble for words as to how they did not make it even though the order was never put into the system. Simple he was distracted. they did not offer any compensation just apologies while the waitresses continued to clean & close up the restaurant. Barely any eye contact or a word with the manager. We walked out. Will never come back.

Hello my fellow foodies, It has been a while since I have posted a review, however, I am due. I have come here 3 times and have not been disappointed. Franks is a family owned Italian eatery that is nestled in a strip mall right off of US Highway 46 in Saddle Brook. I ordered the grilled chicken breast with broccoli rabe in the special house sauce and was wonderfully satisfied. The chicken was not overcooked or dry and the Broccoli Rabe was not wilted. The portion was enough for 2 people and the service was excellent. The only reason I gave this establishment 4 stars was becuase of the location. Happy Eating!!!

My boyfriend and I went there for some spaghetti and chicken parm and ended buying a whole pie instead. we ordered a meatball, sausage, and green peppers pizza and absolutely it. The pizza was fresh, it was not greasy, it was scrumptious and perfect for 2 or perhaps 3 lol. Pricing is great, you actually get what you pay for. They also have a daily special which comes with soup or a salad. The server was nice and asked us if everything was ok which was. The atmosphere is friendly and more of a family restaurant, it’s also byob I believe which is awesome if you like to drink wine with food. Been here over three times and always leave happy. last but not least I like when the old man at the register is there, he’s always friendly and supper cool. The lady that was there today seemed mad, pist or idk, I gave her my bill and she slammed my change on the counter .I stated thanks have a nice day and she just walked away. rather than that. I love franks pizza and highly recommend you guys yo visit

I love this place! It may not be a fancy restaurant & being in a strip mall but looks can be deceiving. I’ve been going here for years. The food is really good & nice size portions. They offer a variety of different pizzas & can make them in personal sized pizzas. The owner is a really sweet guy who will joke around w you. There are girls that work there that get to know the regulars & just really sweet girls! They easily & wo any problems, accommodate my weird food likes & dislikes, judgement free! lol

Amazing! We ordered a grandma pizza which is amazing btw. The told us it takes 1hour to make but because of the reviews we decided to take the chance and it is totally worth the wait!!! A MUST go to for great pizza, salad and garlic knots… Bigger bonus is that there is a Walmart, staples, sally beauty supply and more located nearby so waiting for the food to be ready was easy and practical. Got to run errands at the same time… Go check them out, totally worth it, you will not be disappointed!

Franks is beyond amazing! It was my boyfriends birthday yesterday and I wanted to do something creative so I asked my favorite pizzeria to make me a heart shaped pie. Well, Fernando baked us the best looking pie I’ve ever seen! You can never go wrong here. Their pizza is always crispy, cheesy, and delicious! The staff is always so welcoming and friendly. Hands down the best pizzeria in jersey! If it’s pizza night, go with franks!

Crazy good chicken parm slices… Oh And they’re huge. Like massive. I could barely finish two slices on an empty stomach(and I eat like a person with 6.5 stomachs) Wait times can get a little long on weekend nights but that’s just because this place is banging!

My family ordered two pies from here tonight. One with half pepperoni and peppers/onions, and the other being just sausage. Both pies had a nice flavor. I like the fact that their sausage pie wasn’t saturated with sausage. Sometimes too much sausage isn’t a good thing(I know, that’s what she said haaha). The pepperoni/pepper and onions pie was good as well. Nice dough consistency, good sauce, and perfect amount of cheese. Overall no real complaints about this pizza. Pretty damn good pies if you ask me! This review isn’t super comprehensive I know but the pizza was good enough that I had to share. I will definitely come here another couple times to determine whether it is 5 star worthy. I’ll keep you updated!

I just had the most heavenly antipasto salad on earth. The only problem was that they slopped dressing all over it. If I was capable of eating a whole salad I wouldn’t mind. I’m not even usually a fan of giardiniera, but I inhaled this. Their pizza is also amazing. Fantastic!

Looking for delicious pizza? How about a really good prosciutto and fresh mozz hero? Oh I see, you’re in a pasta mood, but your date wants pizza. You’re in luck no matter how you«slice» it. Franks Pizza is the best you’ll find in Saddle Brook. I’ve tried them all. The gnocchi in vodka sauce is a dish I love to make from scratch, and Franks version takes mine to task. Most of the pasta dishes are delightful. You’ll find their sandwiches are equally on par with the other food, both hearty, delicious, and fresh. The service here is great. One of the waitresses even knows my order the second I walk in! All of the servers are very friendly. I have watched it get busy, however, and the service does suffer a bit, but this could come from them not being used to it at times. As a side note, their pasta portions are huge, so be aware that lunch portions are always available if you decide to go the pasta route Franks has become our little Friday night dine out spot, and will continue to be so.

Truly a hidden Gem of a casual /take out pizzeria /Italian Restaurant. My wife and I are regulars for the last few years, and our kids always come along when they’re home. The service is wonderful and very friendly, and everyone who works there is so incredibly nice and attentive. We simply love going there. The place is simply awesome, no other way to describe it. The Seafood soup(when available) is out of this world amazing !!! All dinner portions are large and every time the food is more delicious than the last time. The Zuppa di Clams white, Zuppa di Pesce or Filet of Sole when its the special, Shrip w/Broccoli Rabe and Chicken Reale are all must-have-orders for my wife and I and they are always a «home run»!! Prices are very reasonable. On some nights, there can be a bit of a line at the door, cause the place gets a little packed cause the food is so good. No worries, its always worth the wait! BYOB for those who want wine with their meal. News12 is always on the TV sets mounted near the ceiling.

I’ve moved into the area recently and have been trying to find a local pizzeria. A friend who lived in saddle brook told me about Franks and upon checking out Unilocal reviews I decided to try it out one day for a slice with my sister. I got a chicken parm slice and she got a buffalo chicken slice. The man at the counter was so nice and joked around with us. The restaurant was clean and our slices we’re awesome. Their pizza is thin crust with the perfect amount of cheese and sauce and our slices were loaded with big pieces of chicken. They definitely aren’t cheap with the toppings. Last night, we decided to order take out for New Year’s Eve. We ordered a medium pie, hot wings, and a small antipasto salad. The antipasto was fresh, had a light vinaigrette with fresh mozzarella, roasted peppers, olives, and cubes of really good tasting hard cheese – I think parmesan. The pizza was so delicious again. Thin crust, yummy tasting cheese and sauce. Hot wings were ok. Kind of soggy but maybe that’s because it was takeout. Still tasty though. I will definitely go back and can’t wait to try their pasta and chicken dishes they look delicious!

My boyfriend and I love to come here. He loves the Hawaiian pizza and I love the pasta entrees. Tried the gnocchi with vodka sauce recently and loved it. I put a picture of it as well. The service here is always great and we always see the same servers who are passionate about their food and speak highly of it, but give honest opinions. The owners are very nice and run a great place. You can always get lunch size portions which is nice, bc their dinner entrees are huge.

Hidden Gem! I’ve been coming to this shopping area for years, and I have NEVER had Franks! Now, don’t get me wrong, I’m a HUGE fan of Lodi Pizza, which is right down the street, but Franks, super delicious as well!!! I actually only had a bite or a slice, so I can’t really talk about the pizza, but their food was delicious! I had the eggplant parm and it was wonderful! It wasn’t drenched in sauce, it was covered in cheese, and the eggplant was perfectly cooked and not bitter at all!!! My husband ordered a pasta dish. The pasta was well cooked, and a HUGE portion! We had leftovers for two days! Garlic knots — yessssss!!! Go, now! Enjoy!

Don’t be deceived by the casual exterior of this place. The food is awesome. Whether you decide on one of their specialty slices(my personal favorites: ziti slice, chicken franchaise slice, their white spinach slice or their bruschetta slice) or one of their sandwiches(they have both hot subs and deli meats), pasta, chicken, etc. You will not be disappointed.(Unless you have no taste buds, in which case, I’m sorry for your loss because you’re missing out on this well-known Saddle Brook gem). I’ve been coming here for years and have never had something I didn’t like. The owner Jerry is a really friendly guy, makes you feel like you’re at home. Love this place!

Been coming here for over 20 years! Owner is nice and remembers you even if u haven’t been in in a while! I have literally been getting slices from here since before my teens. It can get a little packed so i often call in and pick up and bring it to my parents house. Pizza is excellent, baked ziti pizza, chicken parm pizza, stuffed pizza they have it all. Often get the strombolis, caesar salad, chicken franchaise-consistently good! You will not be disappointed with ANYTHING here! Oh, no delivery!

There are so many pizza places near my house but this is one of my favorites! These guys have been here for many years and making pizza forever. Hands down they have one of the best ziti slices around. They are reasonably priced and the food is always good… On a Friday or Saturday night the place can be kind of packed but you can always find a seat. The place is pretty big and has both tables and booths for a sit-down meal, it is also a very popular take-out place as well. Honestly, if you are in the area and want to get pizza or some good Italian food, check them out but its really just another pizza place that you can probably find anywhere in NJ.
