Zena Foods

They were at the Capitol Farmers Market today. I have never seen their booth before and I know I wouldn’t miss it! I love hummus! The men working there were very friendly and gave me a couple samples to try. I bought the pita bread even though I normally hate pita bread because it was SOOO good with their hummus. The hummus was either buy one for $ 6 or buy two for $ 10. I bought two to save money, of course ;). I also couldn’t decide which flavors I wanted because they all sounded SOOOO good. I ended up getting the Avocado Cilantro and Sun Dried Tomato & Basil. They came in 8 oz containers and were very fresh and delicious! They also take credit card, which is nice since most vendors at the farmers market do not. I plan to try ALL the flavors by the end of summer!

Zena Foods comes to the small Farmers Market at my CSUS every couple of weeks. EverythingI tried I loved it! From the hummus and variety of favors like avocado and garlic. The price fpr the hummus is great 3 for $ 12 cant beat that! My other two favorites are the Tabhouli salad and the Tzaziki sauce. Must try!!!
