Windbridge Village

Pros:
–Gated community that actually keeps the gates closed due to the leasing office being accessible from outside the gates (except when they break)
–Has a small gym and outdoor pool
–Within walking distance to shopping centers and a nice trail
–Laundry machines inside some units
–Maintenance fairly quick and responsive
–Haven’t had car & apartment broken into yet (knock on wood)
Cons:
–Much like many apartments in the area from reading other reviews, the walls are thin so you will be able to hear neighbors, cars outside, etc. They also like doing landscaping bright and early in the morning so you get to wake up to the wonderful sound of weed whacking.
–Poor insulation from the weather. Expect melting summers and freezing winters.
–Probably depends on if you win the neighbor roulette when you move in but I had a terrible experience with neighbors being loud. (ghetto, bass blasting type of people)
–Smokers galore. Wanna open your window in the summer? Surprise! Have some secondhand smoke to go with your air!
–Manager seems friendly but kind of sketchy business practices. They will con you when they can get away with it, especially when moving in/​signing the paperwork.
–Water/​sewer/​garbage costs not included in rent
I think the cons outweigh the pros for me but you can be the judge of what is acceptable to you and what isn’t. With rising rent plus utilities, this place has kind of become laughable for the price (at least for a 1 bedroom unit). You could probably do better.

This complex is clean and quiet and beautifully landscaped. Great amenities and a good rental price.
