Wind Chase Apartments

I’m not an expert on what it’s like to personally live at these apartments, but my good friend has been living here for over 10 years and has often expressed how safe and comfortable this gated community has been during most of those years. Every time I go to visit my girlfriend, I can’t help but notice that it is a quiet and well maintained neighborhood. The thick, luscious landscaping is always neatly manicured as well as the exterior of the buildings.
The inside of her unit is nothing fancy, but suffices to have all the important basics that one would expect in creature comforts. This cozy one bedroom, one bath apartment has your standard size kitchen, garbage disposal & dish washer, standard living room and even a stack-​able washer & dryer located in an enclosed closet in the dining room. Residents get covered parking spaces while visitors can usually find a vacant parking place conveniently located nearby. You must enter this fenced in community through automatic gates that must be opened by a special code number, which is helpful in deterring unwanted passersby from freely wandering into the neighborhood. While nothing is perfect, I have always felt safe walking through the complex.
Rent seems to be very reasonable and makes for a good alternative place to reside for those who have somewhat low incomes but can still enjoy a basically comfortable lifestyle. Another added plus is, that they are pet friendly as long as competent pet owners show care and responsibility for their little companions.
Whenever, I have the opportunity to see my girl friend, I have had no apprehensions about entering the area and have felt comfortable in being able to relax, hang out, and have a nice visit with one of my oldest and dearest friends.

I can’t log in to my old account to update my review (forgot my password :() so I’m just going to write a new one. When I initially moved in, I was very happy with the management. I later realized that the manager wasn’t very good at doing her job. She was never in the office. I don’t think I ever saw her inside at 9 am, the time the office first opens. I doubt she ever spent a full day doing her job (working is hard ya’ll!). When I told her I had wasps, it took her over two weeks to get in touch with pest control. She also (presumably) got fired because she stole some of the tenant’s rent money to fund her drug habit + tacky style. She basically got away with this because she preyed on poor people. She would accept rent money in stages if someone was struggling to pay. Well, when she got fired, everyone learned that she made no record of these payments. A lot of people had to set-​up a repayment plan with the new management because of this. It is a shame that dumb cunts like this are offered management positions. The new manager is definitely better. It appears that she is in the office when she should be. Since she got here, the windows have been replaced which is a plus (I’m not happy that they replaced them during the holidays, using the tenant’s electricity to do so tho). I also doubt the new manager is capable of doing what the former one did. I am happy that this place is no longer run by an ugly Kardashian wannabe who thinks she’s above working. I will say that the quality of the tenants has gone down, though. There are definitely some shady people living here who like to chill in their car late @ night doing god knows what. I also hate the fact that I can’t leave my window open at night without the smell of weed (the one that smells like dog shit that’s been lit on fire) permeating my room. There is also a new asshole tenant who thinks it’s perfectly ok to rev up his motorcycle at 9 am. I think it’s a bit ridiculous that they are planning on raising the rent, especially since there haven’t been any significant improvements.

I love this apartment community. It is clean, safe, and close to shopping. The manager, Daniela, is a sweetheart. She will go out of her way to make you feel welcome. She is always happy to answer your questions or help you in any way. I hope she never leaves this community, I don’t think anyone else could do a better job of managing this place. The apartments are amazing for the price. In my 2×2, I have a huge U shaped kitchen with tons of cabinet and counter space (the appliances are new or like new), 2 large bathrooms, a FULL SIZE washer and dryer (brand new), a nice private patio, and central heating/​air. The complex is well lit at night, I have never felt unsafe walking around during this time. The community is gated and small (which I prefer, I have lived in big apartment communities and they just aren’t for me). This place is definitely worth checking out!
