It’s a very small kids park. Comes equipped with a playground, one set of swings(for toddler & big kid), a sandbox area, and a picnic table with BBQ. The pros– Surprisingly quiet despite there’s Howe Avenue rushing by. But that street runs high above it, and there’s no possibility of getting hit by one of those cars. There’s also big telephone wires over head, but you hardly notice there around once you’re on the playground. The cons– Sandbox is not a great one. Too many ants and plants taking over. And people from the houses nearby just let the dogs out sometimes and do their business without watching them. The good news is: they’re getting ready to build a new doggie park across the street!!! Preparations are now underway. This park is popular for small family get togethers. I’ve also seen a lot of soccer practices happen here for grown men who like to play. There’s a couple of big white goal posts in the field. And it’s popular place for women to meet who are jogging in a running club along the American River trail. Which there is access to right across the street. If you live within a walking distance, its good to know this park is available here for outdoor recreation. It’ll do when you don’t feel like driving to a bigger kids park.
