I came here due to some eye irritation; I experienced issues with my contacts for several weeks and finally decided it was time to see a doctor.
After a bit of research, I made an appointment. Dr. Patel wasn’t the most personable of doctors. She gave off an annoyed attitude; like I was supposed to diagnose myself. She also dilated my eyes without warning me first (luckily, I didn’t drive there that day). After a few tests, she eventually figured out the problem. She noticeably perked up once she realized I was in the market for a regular optometrist.
Dr. Patel ended up referring me to Dr. Kim for new contacts that would be more appropriate for my eyes. I scheduled an appointment for a month later. Once I showed up, I learned that Dr. Patel failed to mention that Dr. Kim doesn’t do contacts (imagine my annoyance). Luckily, the assistant was able to get me in with Dr. Barnett at the Cadillac Drive location that same day. Still, I was not happy; a one-​hour errand turned into a three-​hour headache.
Needless to say, I’m still in the market for a competent optometrist.
