It was my husband & i first time eating here. We had no clue on what to get but we had the best server ever. She was very helpful with trying to satisfy our needs. I couldn’t find out her name but I would recommend this Thai restaurant if you’re in natomas. The inside is very beautiful too. The only thing I didn’t like was the fact it was too dark.

This place is good, but pricey. I ordered Yellow Curry + Rice to go and it came out to $ 18.

Good Thai not the best I’ve had but the atmosphere and service make up for that. Love the ambiance, especially for a restaurant in a strip mall.

this was such a basic Thai restaurant. I ordered the pad kee mow aka drunken noodles at a «hot» spice level(so ¾) and it was definitely at a 2.3 ish level. I instantly added spice so honestly I can’t give an exact spice rating. next, it was very oily and the noodles were the thick rice ones so having like 6 stuck together is a task to unravel and not tasty. I ordered tofu as my protein and literally got like seven little cubes. these cubes were probably as big as the opening hole of a Pepsi can. overall this food was a mediocre experience. the service was not good at all either. they had a sign with a few specials listed and I expected to get more information on them but my server just assumed I wanted to eat it and got a little irritated when I asked her for a brief explanation or at least to explain their menu(I later realized this is a basic average run of the mill Thai place set in a beautiful thai themed location). when asking if it had fish sauce(since I don’t eat fish) she told me no, then said ok maybe a little, then said ok we will jus pour soy sauce on it. no comment. over all the highlight of this place is that it looks really palatable. honestly it will make you hungry. set yourself for disappointment. especially if you’re a vegetarian who has tried other Thai food before.

What an outstanding restaurant this is! I just met a friend there for lunch, as we are both lovers of Thai food, including cooking it at home. We had the Pad Kee Mao(drunken noodles) with chicken and shrimp and the cashew nut stir fry with tofu, along with their signature salad and hot and sour soup. Excellent food and outstanding, friendly service in this beautiful restaurant. A full bar was also available. Just a great place to dine for lunch or dinner. If you love Thai food and are in Sacramento, head out to Natomas and visit Tuk Tuk!

Awesome. Nice atmosphere and good food. Servers and friendly and attentive. Portions are large enough to take some home. Pricing is great based on the amount and quality of food. Good place to go for a date, dinner with friends, or just for take out. I love this place.

Walked into this restaurant and was simply amazed at the ambiance of this place. Definitely has a very classy, sophisticated feel. Lights were dim, candles lit. Felt like I was at a steakhouse haha. Service was attentive as well. Our waitress came and apologized to us for the long wait(it wasn’t really that long in my opinion) and told us that they didn’t forget about our orders, there was just a really big table in front of us. We ordered the Pad Kee Mao with chicken(medium heat) and the Pad Thai. Both dishes were very tasty! I enjoyed the pad thai more because it was more flavorful. It was probably one of the best pad thai’s that I’ve had in a long time. I do wish that they gave us the option to choose between chicken, beef, or shrimp though. It only comes with shrimp. Pad kee mao as I said earlier was tasty as well. Just after a while, the noodles started to stick together because there wasn’t enough sauce. And it wasn’t too spicy for being medium heat(which is a good thing for me). So if you enjoy your food being super spicy, I would get the next level up that they offer. So far, this is the best Thai restaurant that I’ve been to in Natomas! Will definitely be back!

This is the best thai restaurant in the Natomas area. Their pad Thai is delicious… if you get medium hot it gives it a kick. Their papaya salad is also a must order! You can pick the amount of spicy(mild, medium, hot). The tom yum goon with rice is also delicious.

Thai restaurants just got classy. I love the ambience here! The decorations and attention to detail are just amazing. Even the restrooms are pretty too. I ordered my to go Thai dish– pad Thai. It wasn’t too saucy and wasn’t too bland. One of the best pad Thai dishes I’ve had. This place has groupons often so make sure to check.

Walking into Tuk Tuk Restaurant we were instantly blown away at the design and layout; it has an amiable, dimly-lit ambiance. The music enhanced the setting by engaging into our conversation during our time here. Our server Myle was really nice and helpful, answering questions and making recommendations since it was our first time here. Because of the way the booths are set up, she was higher up over the table, but she got down to our eye level when talking to us and made us fee comfortable and engaged. She went above and beyond to make sure we were properly well taken care of. We started off with a Thai tea, which may be the best I have had, and the Po Pia Tod(egg rolls) as an appetizer. For our main course we ordered the Khao Soy noodles and the Chu Chee Salmon with a side of steamed rice. The aroma of the curry and the coconut reached the table before the food arrived, and when it did, we were eager to dig in. The texture of the noodles, the creaminess of the curry, and the overall presentation of the plates was unexplainable. We were not disappointed in any way when we finally got to dig in. The combination of tender noodles, chicken, veggies, and crispy noddles created a nice mouth feel. The deep fried salmon covered in red curry sauce also had a great mix of texture and flavors. The spice level on both dishes was mild and it had a nice kick to the flavor, enhanced even more with lime. Overall this visit exceeded our expectations and we’ll definitely be coming back to try more dishes and drinks. I definitely recommend everyone try this restaurant.

I have frequented this establishment for the past 7 years. There was nothing bad I could say about it. What happened! The past two visits were such a disappointment. Both visits were on a Friday during lunch hour. There was only one person working the floor. She was responsible for seating people and waiting on their table. Needless to say, there was a long wait for everything. When the food finally. began coming out, we were served our meals at different times. To top it off, there was so many things wrong with the food, we didn’t even bother to send it back. Sadly to, I’ve lost my go to place for lunch. All good things must come to an end. I will not be returning to this establishment again.

Oh no they didn’t …just give me a bag of take out food that… left the premises in the hands of the customer in front of me and returned by the waitress. Uhh… but they did. When the waitress left the restaurant with a bag of food, I thought it was odd. But when she returned and gave me a bag and said this was my order… I was speechless. I didn’t physically grab it, I shock my head no. I was using all of my strength not to get angry all over her. But I did after she shook the bag and asked me «what’s the problem, she only had it in her car.» Needless to say I told her what the exact problem was …” The food LEFT the premises ANDRETURNED! THAT’S THEPROBLEM!” I told her I’m not taking that order. She said she will have a new order(steamed rice and chicken yellow curry) prepared, it will take about 5 – 7 minutes. I said ok, but changed my mind when I saw the waitress take the containers out and give them to the cook. New order or re-heated order?! Hmmm, I will never know because I asked them to cancel my order and asked for my money back. Suggestions to Tuk Tuk so this does not happen again: Label the take out bags, Check the contents of the bag before handing them out, and if this happens again the waitress should offer the customer the opportunity for a fresh order right away.

Decided to try this place out because of the great reviews. We came in and were seated right away. The waitress brought out water and took our food fairly quickly. We ordered a few appetizers and couple of entrees… As the time passed, the restaurant kept getting gradually busier and busier with every minute that passed. It appeared that they were short staffed. They only had 2 waitresses servicing the entire restaurant, which had maybe 20 – 30 tables with a few large parties. The waitresses began to assemble seating areas and moving tables around, to make room for new clients, to avoid any wait. Meanwhile, back at the ranch, all of the other tables were waiting for their waitresses, the food and service. After about 40 minutes, we finally got our food, the main course entrées. Unfortunately, we were not able to order nor receive the appetizers we were looking forward to. I personally love Thai food and always am eager to try something new I see. At this point we were late and unfortunately, due to how busy they were, we were not able to get more than 1 glass of water each. I’m all about saving water, but the food is spicy and I’m thirsty, so another glass or two would have gone nicely. The check took over 10 minutes to get, at least they didn’t charge us for the food we didn’t receive, which I’m sure would have caused another delay. Needless to say, we were late to our show. I will say the staff was friendly and the food was delicious, which is actually the only reason this place is getting 1 star, not because that’s the minimum I have to give it. If you have half to a full day to spend, waiting on food and are ok with bringing your own water, definitely check this place out. However, if you only have an hour to an hour and a half to eat dinner, you might be cutting it close. The management did an awful job of managing this restaurant. What they should have said is there’s a wait, checked in more than once on you, apologized for the delay in the food, missing orders and being short staffed. Unfortunately, we did not receive either of those things. If I would have known that, I would have gone somewhere else, obviously, but would have given this place another shot, at a different time. Unfortunately, they captured 1 transaction and will not see me or anyone I know there again.

My lady and I have lived in Natomas for the last 4 years and it was the first time we tried this place! To be honest, we have eaten at restaurants next door such as five guys burgers, Dickeys BBQ, and freebirds burrito but never decided to step into Tuk Tuk. Also, we always go to Bangkok garden but since it closed down, we had to discover another Thai restaurant. There a couple of other Thai places around the area such as Thai princess but we decided to try Tuk Tuk! The entrance to Tuk Tuk is very nice and modern. It has nice hardwood floors, open ceilings, 3 flatscreen TV’s mounted, and a bar area. It has a more fancy look than Bangkok garden. We were greeted and seated right away by Cindy. When we were looking over the menu, my lady discovered two misspelled words: meat was spelled meet and potato was spelled potatoo! That wasn’t very professional but didn’t really bother me, made me laugh instead! We ordered the curry puffs for apps and it was pretty good! It came out hot and with a side salad that consisted of onions, cucumbers, and carrots… For our entrée, we ordered the pad Thai, salt and pepper soft shell crab over veggies, a noodle dish that consisted of beef and shrimp, and fried rice! The pad Thai was excellent, probably one of the best I ever had. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had great flavor! The salt and pepper soft shell crab was too salty!!! I didn’t really like that dish and I don’t recommend it. The noodle dish with beef was good but too spicy for me! Next time I will get it without spiciness! Fried rice was good and would get it again! Check out my pics! We finished most of our food and only had one to go box to take home! The service was pretty good… Cindy was very nice and easy to talk too. She checked on us often and also gave us recommendations since it was our first time. Next time I want to get the dessert! I was too full!

Hubs: «Skip the gym and have dinner with me» Me: «Where?» Hubs: «Let’s try something new» Tuk Tuk Ambiance: Me: «This place is nice. Low Lighting, nice seating, very chic décor» Hubs: «They have pillows you can sit on!» Service: Hubs: «If we’re the only people in here this is DEFINITELY bad service. Pad Thai(shrimp) $ 11.95 Hubs: «Good sauce flavor but they over cooked the shrimp and tofu.» Me: «It’s yummy. Not bad. How do you know what over cooked tofu taste like?» Hubs: «I’ve had it where it’s been perfectly fried and silky. You can chew it with your tongue. The beef looks hard… is it hard?» Me: «Hold on, I just put it on my plate. It’s not Chinese melt in your mouth. It’s chewy, but not break your teeth chewy.» Hubs: «I have a new appreciation for Chinese beef. Their beef is always soft. I think it’s the way they cook it?
