This place apparently has a history of different names, including the X-​O Lounge and Trio Club. It dovetails nicely into a «Trifecta» of fun, hence why the name Trio works so nicely for me:
* Grab the Chinese Buffet at Lunch
* Pop over for a strong, inexpensive alcohol beverage (or two) at Trio
* Then hit the matinée @ Tower Theatre right next door.
SETUP
Let’s be honest: this place is a seedy dive, but it’s GOOD at being a seedy dive!
Depending on the day, the clientele is an extremely diverse crowd of peeps, that includes academics, state workers and ex-​convicts. Interestingly enough, the women who come here are all quite elegant and personable. This is definitely a place to engage in some great conversations!
