The Verdict’s Inn

The Verdict’s Inn has improved since the first time I tried it. I ordered something with a side of rice and almost broke a tooth on a piece that crystallized from sitting at the steam table to long. It seems like the days of undercooked turkey burgers, stale taco chips and dirty sweat-​pants employees are fewer than before.
The food is better although the prices are still too high. The employees at the cash register are always friendly, helpful and make you want to come back. Well, except the Grill Nazi who threatened to spatula my burger into the trash for making a joke once. Other times he’s admonished me for not following proper order/​pickup protocol.
I can’t complain to much though. His cooking is really good and he goes out of his way to get you what you want. Just make sure you form a single file line, order promptly and don’t make any jokes. NO FRIES FOR YOU! NEXT!
