The Nail Stop

I would not trust these guys. They are very rude. I got my ear peirced by the man (Lee) did not last a week. Take your service elsewhere. The nail stop on Stockton blvd where Yankee hardware is where the ladies moved to. They are always busy! I’ve witnessed the man Lee bring in a huge bottle of alcohol during business hours.

Avoid this shop! It recently changed owners and they harassed the old staff and forced them out. They are telling customers that Van and Kathy are on vacation. Wrong! They moved to The Nails Stop 5671 Stockton blvd 452‑6986. Van has been doing my nails for 11 years and I’ve followed her to the new shop. Definitely worth the extra 5 minutes ladies.

This salon is under new ownership. I was never there before but I have to say I wont go anywhere else now! Lee did my nails and he was fast. Also very funny and great to be around. I actually liked being there. He did a great job and helped pick out my design. When I didn’t like the color he had no problem taking it off and changing it. The choice of nail design is great! I’ve never seen so many choices to choose from. Lee Thong (lol) cant wait to see the next design!

To gain me as a loyal customer, I look for a few things… Number one the actual service, the personality and the price. When I say, personality, I don’t mean «kiss ass», I mean «Hi. how are you «, etc.
I’ve been going to this little place, off and on for 9 years (the times I have gone elsewhere is because they couldn’t fit me in right away and I couldn’t wait… which I should have, because, I have always been disappointed with other places that I have been. I love the Nail Stop, Lily is the woman who owns the shop and who does my nails and she always does a fantastic job.
Their pedicure tubs are always clean and so are their tools (one of the things I look for).
Its the average looking nail place, but the girls are friendly and funny and I love them and their work! It’s my Cheers.
