burgers are amazing, and so is the rest of the food. Also the prices are really good for a great burger.

This place was ok but not spectacular. I expected a bit more. I got a mushroom swiss burger and onion rings. The onion rings were good and they were big. I was not impressed by the burger. It was good but not great. I didn’t really like the swiss cheese that they used and I think they use frozen patties. Don’t know that I will go back anytime soon. I prefer In N Out or an actual original diner that makes fresh burgers.

It’s been about six years since I last had a Habit Burger– in Ventura. It’s a SoCal burger chain originally hailing from Santa Barbara, CA. Now Sacramento has a couple. We wanted something better than Mickey D’s but not fancy or expensive and this fit the bill. This chain has a surfer-cool vibe and fast service with reasonable prices. They offer beef, veggie, and chicken options, from traditional burgers to main-dish salads with protein add-ons like chicken or tri-tip beef. You can add avocado to any burger or salad. A kid’s menu offers a burger combo and grilled cheese meal options for a mere $ 3.99. Today the front kiosk and grill line were staffed with a group of hard-working ladies who knew their stuff. Pleasant atmosphere to eat in. I ordered the char-burger combo with fries and a drink, a side salad, and«borrowed» some of my friend’s onion rings. He had the double char with two beef patties. Honestly, I would come back just for the onion rings– they are that good. Panko– crusted, crispy, and savory… fabulous! The fries were more middle of the road, but good, and the burger was tasty but a little overcooked(not very juicy). I loved the caramelized onions, shredded lettuce, and mayo. The unripe tomato slice that was whitish, not so much, but I swapped some of my salad tomatoes to the burger. The salad was tasty and generous, with sliced tomatoes, cucumbers, and a variety of romaine, iceberg, and red cabbage. Dressing was sub-par so that was kind of sad with such a good salad. Not a lot of meat so if I you were really craving beef, I would recommend the double char. Nice drink selection, fresh iced tea, and a pepper bar(all kinds of spicy peppers to adorn your burger). Lunch for two under $ 25 and served piping hot and fresh under 10 minutes. This could become a habit…

Visited this location about a month ago, saw they had pastrami which some habits don’t carry. I’ve only been to one other habit in the Bay Area so I’m not too familiar with the menu. The cashier was nice but didn’t elaborate too much on options when I told her I wasn’t sure what I wanted. Didn’t seem like she had tried much of the food either but my order was correct and I didn’t wait too long so… four stars.

Really craving a good Hamburger after having so much Chinese food for almost 2 weeks… Habit Burger was the go to burger. The Habit is a casual restaurant chain focused on hamburgers, salads, sandwiches, shakes, French fries and onion rings. Menu is not extensive but still has a wide enough variety to please everyone. All orders are cook to order FRESH! Although the Line is long during lunch time, the wait time is short. They hand out a electronic buzzers to call you when your food is ready. Ordered the Charburger… comes with mayonnaise, pickles, fresh tomatoes, lettuce and caramelized onions on a toasted sesame bun… freshly cooked to order. Also, like the option that you can have the choice of having a wheat bun instead of the standard white bun. The Onion Rings were super crispy and fresh. I liked that they ask if you would like a side of ranch dressing on the side for the onion rings. The Habit just knows how to serve up a nice meal efficiently and tastily, and with the bonus of a great staff. Eating at Habit feels much different than a typical fast food burger experience. If you haven’t been to Habit Burger before… Prepare for it to become a habit! Repeat business is Assured!

Great place to eat! And super helpful and friendly service! I had the mushroom char with the melted cheese added bacon and grill onions!!! Yum! So good! And they allow half and half fried items so I ordered half onion rings and tempura green beans and a Malt. Will definitely be back!

First time here and it did not disappoint! The place was very busy, but extremely clean and organized. The staff was very friendly and when I ordered the Santa Barbara style burger with no avocado, she rang it up as a double char on sourdough because it would be cheaper that way. Great customer service and a clean restaurant go a long way with me! The double char on sourdough was very good and so were the tempura green beans. I’d highly recommend both. As someone who loves in-n-out, this place is right up there!

Double char add bacon Santa Monica style. Onion rings and sweet potato fries. Good toppings and the sourdough just needed a bit more crunch to it. Ordered a chocolate shake but when they handed it to me it was in a clear plastic disposable cup and really watery. I denied it and got a refund instead.

The prices for the food here are pretty decent but I feel like the burgers are missing some flavor. Pros– Price Good burgers Cons Some rotten lettuce in my salad They forgot my milkshake We ordered a combo but they put it down as just the burger No free wifi Overall I didn’t have a great first experience at the Habit but I hope to have a better one at the Elk Grove location.

Dropped in yesterday with the boyfriend and remembered to get a picture. It’s still not in&out but it’s a close second in what seems to be the competition of the better burger chains lately. The staff was extremely friendly. I actually placed my own order wrong and they offered to fix it for free which was a plus. However I declined this very kind gesture because too many people these don’t own their mistakes. The place was very clean and the staff was very attentive. Now onto the food. They made the food fresh and cooked it when I ordered it,. I was not too crazy about the caramelized onions on my burger, but that is a personal preference. The actual burger was very tasty. It seemed to be perfectly seasoned and used quality meat, I ordered a vanilla milkshake which was a little bland but appeared to be very fresh and hand made so that is always good. The french fries were very light, not over seasoned and not greasy like most other places. I was sad to see that they did not have a drive through, but its ok. It would be nice to actually get a burger to go at some point later on in the futer. I would also like to see them give the option of adding avocados to a habit burger. This would be amazing. It seems that Habit Burger will become my new habit,

Another one of the many chain burger spots that are popping up everywhere. I will tell you, I’m in love with In N Out. But my coworker wanted something new so we came here to cure our hangovers. I love how clean the place is, first of all. Almost as soon as we left our table after eating, someone was there to clean the table. The set up of the restaurant is awkward though. There isn’t a lot of space for a line and you have to walk around this awkward steel bar that’s meant to divide the line or something, I guess. The girl that took my order was a little awkward, too. I am always thrown off when the customer service person doesn’t ask how my day is or what I would like to order. I stepped up and all she said was, «hi!» and then stared at me. I feel incredibly rude just saying, «WANTBURGERRIGHTMEOW» but that’s how I feel when there’s no question about what I would like. ANYWAY, enough about my social ineptitude. Onto the burgers! Prices for burgers and meals are pretty reasonable, I would say on par with In N Out. The burgers are all called«charburgers» which is evident once you eat one. The meat was a little too charred for my taste, but it was still a good burger. I loved all the fresh veggies on it and the crumbly, crunchy bacon was wonderful. I’m sure I’m not the only person that thinks this but, American cheese belongs on a burger, and NOWHEREELSE. On a burger though, it’s perfect and melty and delicious. If I were to come back here again, I would get the same order, charburger, no tomatoes, add cheese and bacon, but I would make one addition: extra pickles. The burger just felt like it was missing something and I think it was more acid(and yes, I realize I ordered it with no tomatoes, but I just don’t like tomatoes on my burgers. sorry). Overall, pretty decent burger, but not my favorite, nor the best in town. I would give it a 3.5 if I could.

This is one of the more appropriately named burger joints I’ve come across. Like a druggie in the throes of a deep, dark addiction, I find myself returning here over and again. Half the time it’s like I’ve blacked out and suddenly find myself at the counter ordering my usual. So what is my usual? The classic burger combo with bacon and avocado. If I want to get really crazy I’ll throw on some mushrooms as well. Toppings aside, the Habit is a step above the rest because of their burger patties. These perfectly seasoned beef circles are always cooked to the perfect texture. I wouldn’t say they are as good as Smashburgers, and they have some serious competition from Five Guys, but in the world of deluxe burger chain restaurants they are neck and neck with the best of them.

I always get the #1 combo with the charburger, fries, and drink. I love the burgers here! It always taste just right with the shredded lettuce. It’s never too bland, too salty, or too greasy. The fries are on the thicker side which is delicious! I always substitute for the sweet potato fries, yum! Can’t go wrong with a sundae for dessert. Their chocolate sundae is delicious! Service here is EXCELLENT. They are always friendly, enthusiastic, and fast, fast, fast! Around 11−12pm, it gets busy for lunch time, but you’ll still get your food within 5 – 10 min. :)

Yum! My brother and I stopped in here based on the reviews and tasty looking pics. Walked in and immediately looked around and pulled dibs on a table since there wasn’t any open tables besides that one. I saw teriyaki, and immediately said«that’s the one!» Mackenzie(cashier) looked at me weird but I never been here before, I don’t like hamburgers, and I was willing to give it a whirl. Anything with teriyaki and pineapple will get this girl all worked up. We ordered a charburger combo and split the fries. And then I ordered myself a teriyaki charburger, and a teriyaki charburger to go for my husband since he was at work. Mackenzie was very cheerful and happy to help us with our order. Something I don’t see often any more with fast food joints. Moderately priced and was only $ 15. Five guys has nothing on this place(but fries. they got fries.) I took a bite out of my teriyaki charburger and immediately made the ultimate decision to also eat the«to-go» burger for my husband. So he didn’t get any lol! It was just so good. They used fresh ingredients and even grilled the onions. The buns were grilled and the burger was not fatty and oily! The fries were made fresh and no salt. Overall, it was great! I will!!! Be back. Thank you!
