Such a talented group of people! Very professional, very classy, never messed up, so easy to work with and fun to photograph! We were the photographers at a wedding they played at the Sacramento Grand Ballroom and vendors are such an important part of a wedding day, and vendors getting along is SO vital! And these guys were an absolutely breeze. It was an honor working alongside them :)

I absolutely love The Camellia String Quartet. They played at our tennis court wedding in 2009 and were delightful. As a birthday present for my Mom later that year we decided that there couldn’t be a better present than an hour of lovely music for her. That has become an annual tradition at the nursing home where she now lives and every November the quartet delights all of us, and the residents, with their talent, charm and beautiful music. They have a tremendous playlist and even learned a piece specially for my Mom. Amazing.
I would not hesitate to recommend them for any occasion. They are a gem in Sacramento and we are fortunate to have their talent. See you again next November for birthday #8.

The Camellia String Quartet played at my wedding in June and were absolutely amazing. I first heard them at a bridal fair I attended to actually see another musician I was set on for my wedding. However, all of that quickly changed when my mom and I heard Camellia Strings play Mendelssohn’s Wedding March (the traditional wedding recessional), my mom was crying, I was tearing up, it actually felt like my wedding day even though I was in the middle of a bridal fair! They have such a presence about them when they play, it was beautiful and definitely made my ceremony even more special. They have a great play/​song list ranging from traditional songs, classics, and even modern favorite and they were an absolute joy to work with. I would highly recommend them!

The Camellia String Quartet was excellent. I had always wanted to have a quartet play at my wedding, and they delivered 100%. The ceremony music was perfect, and they played throughout our cocktail hour as well. They made the evening so special — having live music really adds that extra special touch. They played the Godfather theme song music during the cocktail hour at our request, and our guests absolutely loved it! It was super fun. They are highly professional and responsive. Thank you for doing a fantastic job, we would recommend them to anyone.

Camellia played at my wedding, and they did great!
The 4-​stars that I’m giving these guys is probably 5-​stars for you. I say that as a violist who played at weddings when I was a kid and have high standards. That is to say, Pachelbel is for the birds.
I was particularly hard with Camellia since I had them play a piece that had never been played. They were open to criticism and were excellent during the performance.
These guys are solid.
