Never had a complaint. LOVE this place. Was driving to a early morning game. I mean early! And they were open. YAY. Only place too. So now this is my go to place off tops. I always get the chicken burrito. I mean they are know for there barbeque chicken. So of course I’m getting that. I’ve tried about everything else from taking bites of of family’s plates.lol. $ 5 flat for a bite of heaven. Any kinda meat burrito. Ask for fresh pico and they give you it. The employees seem to only speak Spanish but hey it all works out. They take cash and visa. Toddler friendly. Mine was a hellion and kept running in the back. It was all good. Closes at 9. Go early for the right off the grill chicken. I’m going right now as a matter of fact!

As much as I love their food truck, the way they grill the chicken here is so freakin delicious, I wish I could give an extra star. The marinade and the crispiness really kills it.

Tacos la Piedad is a good place to try some authentic Mexican food. I have had their Birria which is actually pretty good!!! They are known for their chicken which is good too! But my favorite thing to get here is the menudo!!! It’s sooo delicious with the homemade corn tortillas! It’s the closest thing to home! I do think they are a bit pricy therefore I don’t eat here often.

Absolutely LOVE this place! I think this is one of the most authentic and great tasting Mexican food places in all of the Sacramento area!
Great food, home made salsas with chips, great service and great pricing.
My favorites include the carne asada torta, and tacos de lengua, tacos de tripas and tostadas de ceviche. I could keep going and going thou.

The tacos are good and so is the salsa bar. Didnt care much for the sopes or the ceviche. They use mayo in their ceviche which doesnt taste good at all. Going to try their birria if I ever end up in the north area again.

This is probably one of the only places I will buy tacos or any kind of mexican food. It is not super fancy and no Mariachi band but it is legit. Try the cilantro, onion, and asada tacos. You will never want to eat tacos anywhere else.

I went to this place and it was gross I order 2 tacos of Buche and the meat was like a rock it was disgusting I just threw it away and leave I do not recommend this place at all!!! Bad experience

I went today 5÷17÷14, the food here was not what I expected. The meat seemed old and over cooked, the company I was with even felt sick afterwards. I would not recommend this at all. The place look dirty as well. I would not be going back.

Saw the outdoor grill and knew I needed to Stop for lunch to enjoy what ended up being some really good street tacos! I had carne asada and grilled chicken that Also included grilled onions, peppers, and doubled up the mini shells to insure they wouldn’t break! Only reason I give a 4 is the salsa was running low, and not up to the level of the meat, but that could be because it was picked through. I’ll definitely go back.

Hands down the best place to get tacos on the boulevard! I ordered three carne asada tacos with beans and rice. While waiting, I consumed a copious amount of chips that swam in a pool of hot salsa, so good it will make you break a sweat! The prices are great too. $ 1.25 for one of the best tacos you will consume and around $ 6 for the combo, can’t beat that!

One of the staple mexican restaurants we go to when we’re feeling for some real spanish food. Love it here! I’ve seen better prices for a few dishes, but I’m not gonna complain considering the quality of the food made is muy delicioso. c (: (Compliments to the cook!) The people who work here are nice & friendly, restaurant is clean, etc — All good stuff.
A few favorites of mine are the tostada’s & tacos which both dishes range from about $ 1-​$ 3. Especially love the tostado de camarones, but all are really good! Thats the usual for me; I’m sure everything else here is too.
Even the horchata! Mmm, which I’m a little bitty critical on to some mexican restaurants. They can taste too bland & don’t have that cinnamon-​y taste, but here it’s delicious. Everything is delicious! Lol!

I have mixed emotions on this one and I’m not going to star it like normal.
The food is good but there is a crap load of flies in there and that alone will stop me from coming back, I mean there was about 12 to 20 in the dinning area which was small, so I can only imagine how many were in the back were they were cooking the food.
With that said the food was good, and I ate so much with all the beer in my stomach I think I blew a gasket because I felt sick after the half of a super burrito, ¾ of a torta, one taco, and chips and salsa I didn’t eat for about 20 hours after this.
So after writing this about 72 hours later my belly is still jacked up and it’s not the beer because I’m a professional drinker.
Green salsa– 4.5 stars for the taste and 1 star because I know there are hella flies landing in it.
And by the way my friend had some of everything I had and didn’t get sick, so I don’t think it was the food.

Me and a coworker usually go to another taco spot, the that place was undergoing renovation, so we ended up a few blocks down at La Piedad. The grilling out front caught our attention.
He got a chicken taco and two pieces of chicken thigh a la carte. I got their two-​piece chicken combo. I like that they let you choose which piece of the chicken you want. I chose drumsticks.
His food came out first. They accidentally made a steak taco instead of chicken, but he told them he was fine with the steak. He thought the chicken tasted good though.
My two piece combo came with beans, rice, lettuce, tomato, tortillas and some salsa. The grilled chicken was flavorful and moist, but I was a little surprised at how small the drumsticks were. They would have been the perfect size for my 3 year old.
Overall pretty good experience. The food tasted good. Hard to complain at $ 5.49 for the two piece combos.

Yum! Pleasantly surprised with this place. Cheap and GOOD! I got a bean and cheese burrito and a drink for $ 3.77. It was delicious. My friends get the burritos as well and apparently the quesadillas are bomb too! Definitely coming back.
