Super Taco

Cashier was very rude, horrible attitude. When we got our chips and salad there was a hair in the salsa and when I brought it up to the manager he said «no, thats from your shirt» took the hair from my figure showed the cashier who then rolled her eyes and they both started speaking in Spanish no I am not fluent in Spanish but I do understand enough to know when they are talking negatively, for lack of another word. Then he wasnt even going to change out the salsa. HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE.

As always I had another great lunch at Super Taco. I had one of my favorites again. A ground beef taco, refried beans, and a medium diet Pepsi. It makes no difference what location I eat at their food is always great. They are one of my all time favorite places for Mexican food and their prices are fair.

Delicious food and friendly staff. Sometimes restaurant can be packed during lunch time. Highly recommended!

We had high hopes for this place. The food was decent and the server was friendly, however the cost was high for what we got. We ordered two combos and didn’t receive tortillas. When asked about them, they said only certain combos came with them, even though the sign clearly indicated otherwise. Also, when we asked for some more chips, they wanted to charge us.

I have been coming to Super Taco for about 2 years straight on Tuesdays with friends & family for Taco Tuesday. The food is great & the cooks and (some) staff are nice. This place was always a friendly restaurant but now it feels like a fast food place. Now you have to order before you can sit down and do everything yourself. Get your own drink. Order food first. Get your own chips and salsa. That just puts it to feel like a fast food place now. The servers said they’re just following their new «rules» so no harm to them but I miss the whole «restaurant» part.

One messy ass torta & one small horchata for $ 11?!! SMH Save your money and go elsewhere.

I have been going to super taco on mack road for 17 years. THEY ARE THE BEST!!! Who ever runs this location is seriously lacking! Food looked like it was thrown on the place, i found a bug in my rice and was overall very disappointed in the food and service. I was close to this location so i tried it thinking it would be similar to the mack road loaction but i was so disappointed. I will never go to this location again.

This place is really close to my work and had good ratings so I had to try it. It’s a little pricy. But the daily special is where it’s at! Yummy beans, yummy rice, a drink, and a main dish for $ 8. I will have to say my girlfriends and my favorite dish is the number 13: the sopes combo. Man the know how to make some good Carne Asad sopes. Their beans and rice go well together too, all getting washed down with a yummy jamica. Love it all!
Def going to come here again, as well as bringing the co-​workers!

I wish this location tried to be better at the drive thru. I am not sure ever how long it will be to get my food and recommend just going in.

I love this place. Whenever I want a burrito or nachos, I come here. The staff is always nice. I mostly order out but dine-​in is nice as well. I always get the super nacho or a super burrito and can never finish in one sitting. The food is always delicious.

I went to Drive Thru but there was no check out ATM, so the employee took my bank card and went up to the front without letting me know anything.
At the moment I felt dumb like what if I gave my card to a wrong person. I had to go park my car and went into the store to pick them up. There was only one A4-​paper stick on the window says customer might wait up to 10 minutes but the way they took my card and didn’t say anything of returning it back made me scared about their business.
Anyway, The food was fair. I ordered enchilada but the meat was like it got no any characteristic taste on. It was like I ordered a diet food for vegan.

Finally, my husband & I went to lunch at Super Taco, unfortunately it’s more like Superbad Taco! Within a couple of minutes of sitting down the waiter brought us chips & salsa and brought our drinks fast. So far, great service. We had only a few minutes to look over the menu so we told the waiter we needed a couple of more minutes. That’s where the great service ended. We decided 5 minutes what we wanted but the waiter never returned. The place wasn’t busy, so I don’t understand why, after the waiter dropped off the water, after 15 minutes he hadn’t returned. Hubby went to the front counter & ordered carnitas super burrito combo, $ 10, & a chile relleno combo plate, $ 9. Food came out quickly but that’s the the best thing I can say about it. The «salad» that comes w/​combo plates consist of a piece of
lettuce & a piece of hard tomato. Why even bother putting in the menu that combos come w/​a salad? The bans & rice were bland. The «super» carnitas burrito wasn’t super but was stuffed w/​70% limp warm lettuce, 20% rice & beans, & 10% carnitas. The chile relleno was tiny, the soggy egg batter made it look bigger but inside the actual pepper was about 4″ long & half of that was the hard stem w/​core & seeds, inedible. Didn’t find any cheese in it either. While dining my hubby had to go to counter to get; refill on water, napkins, check,& pay check, as no waiter came back for anything. This was an overall bad experience! You’re much better off going to La Soga, Las Jarritos, or Lalo’s!

The super nachos with both kind of cheeses with carne asada are to die for. One person can not finish those for just one meal!

Seriously, save your time, energy and money and go somewhere else like LA SOGA on Florin Road across the street from Home Depot behind Cheveron b/​c they don’t charge for extra tortillas and the FOOD is way better.
Went here on a Saturday around Noon for lunch… ordered a beer and a #10 Chile Colorado b/​c its what some older hispanic ladies were also ordering.
GROSS! The meat chunks were over cooked and/​or very old because it was very tough to chew and no flavor or spices what-​so-​ever! The green sauce it was in looked and tasted like it was from a jar– NO FLAVOR. Beans and rice were a little salty but also no flavor.
I asked if i could have one more flour tortilla which were supposed to be homemade (BUT were NOT)…and the waiter said it only comes with 2 and there would be an extra charge… so i skipped it and left my remaining food too.
NOT ever GOING BACK! Spent almost $ 17 for one combo plate and beer… Too many other better Mexican resturants in the area who deserve my business.

Wow! For a small place, that I’ve passed so many times. I finally stopped in and had the enchiladas, the food was great, the staff were friendly, and the service was great. Definitely will be back again.

In the times I’ve been here, my experiences have been good and bad. At first, I fell in love, but now the repeated POOR SERVICE, and INATTENTION IN FOOD PREPARATION has lead me not to want to go there any longer. Sorry Super Taco, You’re NOT so super…

Overall I give Super Taco 4 Stars. I usually get the mini nachos with adobada and both types of cheese (the choices are nacho cheese sauce & shredded). The nachos are huge and I give them 5 stars. I also get the adobada street tacos which are also excellent.
However, overall I am only giving them 4 as their enchiladas are a joke and have barley any filling. I would never order them again.

This location was previously LaFlavorita (Mexican restaurant), now it’s Super Taco… I’m a fan of Super Taco but this location is not in my area; therefore I only have two checkins at this location… today there was only one customer dining in and myself ordering take out. The young lady was nice. She waited patiently on me to decide what to order and of course it was my favorite again «the huge steak and shrimp Chimichanga».the shrimps were medium in size, the steak was tender and seasoned to my liking… its filled with rice, beans and topped with sour cream, tomatoes & guacamole. you can get salsa to go. the Chimichanga is enormous. you can share this entrée easily.

I grew up next to the original super taco on Mack and this one is just as good.
The salsas here are great. My favorite is the red onion and habanero. Their Mexican drinks are on point. I like the pineapple water. If you like seafood try the shrimp cocktail with octopus. The rice and beans are really good here.
When you order food from here it comes out right. They don’t cut corners and it shows. This place is by 2 or 3 other Mexican restaurants and there are always people here when I stop by. The wait isn’t too long for the quality of food you get. I can’t remember ever going here and it being empty.
This place is a south sac favorite for sure. I’m glad they opened this one so I don’t have to drive so far for great Mexican food.

It’s not quite a fast food joint. It’s like a casual type restaurant. When you first walk in, you do get a hostess that seats you. When I went in, I didnt dine in. I was actually ordering take out. FYI though… they do have a drive thru. It was my first time at this place, so I wanted to order inside for take out.
ENVIRONMENT
The place is clean. Nice booth type tables and tiled clean floors. There was a salsa bar and I think a specialty drink area too. I didnt take the time to ask what those were. Horchata? Not sure. It was a clean place for sure.
WAITING TIME
I waited a good 10 minutes.
FOOD
Okay the menu has all sorts of stuff to buy. You can buy a combo. I decided to buy familiar things since I have never been to this place before. I ordered a chicken burrito combo and it came with beans, rice. Oh I forgot to mention that they got two kinds of burritos… regular and super. I ordered the super because I wanted the Veggies. The regular just had beans and cheese.
I have to say with the combination of their fresh salsa and the burrito, it was delicious. I loved it. DELICIOUS! Also the food was huge. I couldnt even finish it. I just got too full and didnt finish it. I had to save and finish it a few hours later.
WILL I GO BACK?
Yes I will definitely go back and possibly dine in next time. It sure beats taco bell and del taco. Its actually a lot better. Its not fast food.
