Spec-West Concrete Systems, Inc

So it turns out that my husband and I know nothing about concrete. We had called a few contractors using the newspaper and online ads, and kept ending up with people that said that they were licensed but, of course, a quick computer check stated otherwise. Then a chance encounter in Home Depot with a complete stranger led us to Spec-​West. As soon as we arrived, it became even more evident that we were total rubes. However, employee Josh took good care of us and explained what we needed to know. He sent us out of the store with all of the information that we needed and a list of licensed contractors to do the job. Today, the licensed contractor finished up our new stamped concrete backyard and it looks WONDERFUL! Thank you Josh and Spec-​West for helping us out with your expertise and knowledge.

Well I just got off the phone with Pat over at Spec-​West. He was very informative, and very helpful. He saved me a ton of time and trouble by recommending a better product than I was looking for. I will heading there tomorrow to pick it up.

Great product selection I wish that I lived closer so can come in here more often. They have everything you need for concrete finishing and masonry.

I have gone to Spec-​West twice and both times I have been more than a little dissatisfied with their service. The first time was because I had some questions about concrete additives for a pond I have been planning and the second time was to see what they had that I could use to repair a fountain. Both times the sales person was unable to help me. Both times I had waited at the counter while someone was helping another customer that had come in before me. Both times, customers came in after me and extra sales personnel had immediately gone to the counter to help them. Both times the sales persons seemed like they did not want to bother with helping me. They seemed short and in a hurry to push me out the door. I will not be making it a third time. I would rather drive to the bay area than have to deal with these people again. The service here sucks the big one to put it lightly.
They have a nice supply of concrete products. It is really too bad thei service is completely unacceptable.
