South Area Pediatrics Medical Group Inc

I going to write this review simply because I think that people have a right to know how this office operate. It saddens me when you deal with a business and they have staff members that are right up front with a bad Attitude. Don’t get me wrong, a bad Attitude is a bad Attitude regardless of where you work but, up front is definitely not the place for it. So I bring my granddaughter in because she has a rash all over. I thought it was Chicken pox, but she had none of the other symptoms (fever, stomach ache ect).
What I did know was whatever it is, it got to be contagious. So when I sign her in I informed the receptionist that she had it. She tells me she will check to see if they have a available room. Truth be told she told me we can wait outside! I told her to go wait outside. Figure that out! Anyways ten minutes later she has not moved from her seat to check and now we have more people coming in the office and three of which are infant babies. So I go back to the window to remind her and let her know that there were more infant children in the waiting room.
Well this lil lady felt the need to tell me that I didn’t know if it was Chicken pox! Regardless, its a rash and because we don’t know that’s all the more reason she shouldn’t expose anyone else, but Ok if it’s ok with you, its ok with me. So we waited in the lobby full of children for 25 minutes. I asked the M.A. that called us back to spray the chair down. And don’t you know as soon as the doctor saw the rash she says IT IS CONTAGIOUS! I Know for a fact that they are required to have a room just for that purpose alone. It so sad to me that one person would want to put so many patients at risk for their own foolish reason.
The best part of this visit was that the doctor was great. Dr. Underhill (Dr booboo). Her words not mines. Lol, My granddaughter has been coming to this office for 2 years and Ever Time she comes she see a different providers (Dr, P.A. ect) My point is, why do none of the providers stick around? I have never seen this before. And not to mention the issues. This is literally like the 3^rd time I’ve had a problem with this office, I’m done doing appointments here! My daughter will have to find another office if she wants me to bring the baby to the doctors here again.
I wish I was able to not give any stars, because this would be one of those «NO STARS FOR YOU» situation. For real. I’m sorry I must admit I have to report this office a lil further than Unilocal.This is not good and it has to be reported for the fact that these are our children’s health and lives I’m talking about. That’s it end of storey!
