Smart & Final

All the employees here work very hard. The store is normally stocked with product and is usually very clean. One checker named Mystique is very fast efficient and very friendly. Kudos to her!

This is the only local chain where I can get my dear husband his reasonably sized pack of individual packets of mayo for his sandwiches at work (condiment thieves prevent him from bringing the jar).
All of the Smart & Finals are in seedy neighborhoods but this one is a bit more grungy than the Arden location. We went in and grabbed the bag of mayo but noticed that the expiration date for the mayo wasn’t nearly as long as in times past but for $ 6 it’s worth it. There is a wide selection of goods and is definitely for those who need bulk items but don’t have a Costco or Sams Club membership and don’t live near a Winco. I make my husband and my brother in law frozen bean burritos that they can reheat at work and in the past, I have bought multiple boxes of spanish rice and have needed to go to Winco for a larger bag of pinto or black beans but at S&F, I was able to get a large bag of beans and spanish rice (about 4 – 5 boxes worth) at a ridiculously low price.
We don’t go to S&F that often but now that I am reacquainted with the products there, I may have to take some extra trips out there for events where I am feeding a ravenous group of in-​laws.

I think I’ve been here once maybe a decade or so ago, but I’m always driving past here. I decided to check it out since I needed a few vitals and wasn’t in the mood to trek out to a difference store. They had a good selection of frozen items, some things like jambalaya and Shrimp Creole. It was kind of nice buying things in larger quantities, but not as large as Costco-​size. I don’t know if there was enough here to make me go out of my way, but I’ll surely check out this place more often since its convenient.

This store is more like a cash & carry. Great prices & well stocked up.

I have been to better smart and finals, this one is closest to my house I agree way too overpriced and not a wide selection. But it is doable if you don’t have a sams club or costco card.

Good prices and a good place to stock up. Pretty basic, no frills.
