Lightrail was 10mins late. Tell the public why? Someone shoule take responsibility. They should be written up. An a letter placed in their file. No excuse. Now I understood why people do not like to ride the lightrail on the weekends. Not consistent. Then they try an rush you on and off. So that they could make up for time. Sad

But as chance would have it, Denny’s is where my friends want to meet up at this sort of Watt «Trailhead» where Business 80 and Interstate 80 align and then merge with one another.
THE SETUP
It’s a bit of an elevation shock since the freeway AND light-​rail station level is below the overpass where all the bus stops are on both sides of Watt, so you have to climb a Cirinth Ingol intensity of stair — like Frodo, Sam & Gollum did — when they bypassed Minas Morgu, the lair of the Nazgul Witch King.
[And this is probably the only instance where a geeky Lord of the Ring reference finds itself into Sacramento Light-​Rail review.
CONNECTIONS TO BUS LINES ON TOP
But once at the top of the stair, you can catch the bus routes back down Watt Avenue all the way to Highway 50. Or go the other direction towards Elkhorn and further towards Antelope.
THE LOWDOWN
A light-​rail stop kind of in the middle of nowhere, but making connections people need.
