Held at the Community Center Theater, so all the typical restroom/​bar/​parking/​box office/​seating/​acoustics situations still apply. I got a seat in the front of the first tier for $ 38.
Attended the John Williams tribute concert on 4/​23, part of the Pops! Series. This was the perfect way to end my weeklong vacation at Universal/​Disney!

They did hold a costume contest immediately following intermission, with kids and adults dressed as Stormtroopers, Gryffindors, etc. with the winner being a little girl dressed as Rey from The Force Awakens. However, this seemed to cut into the performance time for the second act, as the «Flight to Neverland» and «Far and Away» Suites were entirely omitted. The concert still ended at 10:00PM, no encore. The conductor did introduce each piece with humor, the clarinet and violin soloists were very good. What would have been nice was an accompanying screen/​projection of clips/​scenes from the films.
