Sacramento Oral Surgery

I came here a little while back, and honestly looking over other people’s review, I felt like I didn’t want to trust this place. However, I decided to come back because I need to get my wisdom tooth pulled.
The location is on Timberlake Drive, nearby Target on Calvine. It’s located inside of a shared building, which is really easy to find. The receptionists are truly sweethearts. I love how they interact with you and make you laugh. And the doctors make sure everything is one and done. Praise the lord, I thought I would die getting all my wisdom teeth pulled, but to my surprise, I fell asleep (because I got sedated) and woke up in the recovery room.
The follow up check was so quick and the doctors are truly amazing on taking the pain away. Even though I had been prescribed with medication to reduce the pain, my lower jaw was taking longer than expected to heal. They put a dressing on and instantly the pain was gone.
I definitely recommend this surgeon office for anyone who needs to have any oral surgeries.

Skip it — there must be an equally skilled oral surgeon with a better «bedside manner» and a front office staff that isn’t completely incompetent and uninterested in working.
I brought my grandfather here for oral surgery, and I an grateful I was there to monitor and intervene. He’s 84, and he moves a little slower, processes a little slower, and needs a little more attention. The front desk staff was brusque, the hygienists talked really fast and did not care whther or not he understood what they were saying, and failed to explain important information until I asked.
The oral surgeon has no bedside manner — talks forcefully and quickly, ans just says «DO YOU UNDERSTAND?!» loudly to check for an old man’s understanding. Then, he makes small talk at the end to smooth things over. He did an excellent job on the actual procedure, and Grandpa is healing nicely.
If you are a pushy, young person, like me, you’ll be fine here, but do not bring an elderly person or someone not confident pushing back against medical professionals.
Ooh… and then there was the follow up visit. They apparently only have 8am and 1pm appointments. Period. So, we scheduled it for 8am, and then waited around with 7 other people until they felt like unlocking the door at 8:10am, and then waited again to be called. No apology. No explanation.
