Sacramento International Auto Show

I grew up going to the annual new car shows, so it is fitting that I would still attend the Sacramento International Auto Show during its annual pilgrimage to Cal Expo. As a kid, I can remember the thrill of sitting in the driver’s seat of bright and shiny cars, collecting all the brochures, and dreaming of being an adult zooming around the countryside.
As an adult, I am living the dream and still enjoying the show. The Sacramento version has expanded to include many great options. They have extensive displays of classic automobiles, including motorcycles and different vintages. There are several ride-​and-​drives where you can test most of the high volume cars in a relatively sales pressure free environment, including a new electric car exhibit from SMUD.
The show can be expensive, especially with parking and admissions. There are usually discount coupons online and free parking for early birds, but you can also find parking in the neighborhood. Be considerate of the residents though!
I still love to see all the kids running around with the same dreams I had as a child. It is a fun and fanciful experience for everyone!

Decisions, decisions decisions what kind of car do we want to buy this time around?
This car show is convenient just for that decision making although it can be daunting at times!
We currently have a car that is presently over twelve years old but it has been good to us to a point. I have health issues so I have to think ahead as far what would work best for my body in the long run.
Believe me what works best for me is not necessarily what I want to buy! At least there are so many different makes and models out there.
We even had a chance to test drive a Ford Edge but hubby didn’t care for it after he test drove it. We also saw a gal test drive or race a Mustang on the short track! It was a super fast ride for her!!!
I think I’m close to deciding what I want and thanks to this car show for that!
Best to go on Fridays! There were so many people today car shopping that it’s hard to check cars out for that reason! We did use a coupon for three dollars off so that helped cut our admission done to ten dollars.
Also we were one of the first one hundred so we able to get complimentary parking! That was a savings of a total of sixteen dollars today! Yay!!!
For those of you wanting to purchase an automobile and can’t decide what you want then this is the place to be. It will either help you or hinder you. But good luck!
