This is a data recovery company that lays claim to helping with many problems including recovering data from burned or damaged hardware. Our problem was not as seriously damaged as this though. Our media, which was a digital camera memory card, had «corrupted» pictures/​files on it. They looked at it, and the technician said it would be 5 to 7 days. Their online application asks you to list specific files that are damaged or that you would like recovered. We did this as well. Upon saying they can work on it they request a $ 182 non refundable deposit. It has been over a month now and multiple phone calls later where I had to repeatedly tell the technician what the files were that we wanted recovered, that these corrupted files were listed and if he just looked at the drive he would see them there. we just wanted the corrupted files fixed. He recovered files that we already had, he recovered previous deleted files that we didn’t even ask for. it wasn’t until the final week and me holding his hand, bothered to look specifically at the files that we specified in the original application. One week later when I was told that we would be notified about the status I had to call them after not hearing from them to discover that the technician said they were corrupted beyond recovery. Why did it take a month of doing 20 jobs not asked for and then finally doing the one thing we did ask for just to come back and say there is nothing we can do? The building is not even their office they have a mail box there where u drop off your media and you will never meet a single employee face to face.
Please beware before spending money at this company and know that there are free programs online out there that can do the job that they do. This company also goes by the name Data Recovery Services.
