Wow! What a great place to enjoy a break or lunch on campus! The environment is cool and fun. There are plenty of TVs to watch the big game and numerous power outlets if you’re just looking to get some work done. Also, as one of the only places on campus to grab a beer, Round Table is a great place to relax after a long lecture or a tough exam. The staff is awesome too! They are very nice and extremely helpful. Hannah and Muriell are the best employees and always make for a delightful dining experience. GIVETHOSEGIRLS A RAISE!

Came here to grab some personal pan size pizza during my break at CSUS. While I was here, I ordered a pepperoni pizza as we’ll as the chicken pasta. I wanted to try it out since the pasta at Pizza Hut is really good. As I tried the pasta here. It was definitely bland and not worth $ 6 bucks. The pizza though. Can never go wrong with pepperoni! I’m just glad there’s a round table here on campus because all the other food here is nasty to me.

This is the place to go for pizza and sports. There are four big screen TVs with plenty of seating if you include the patio. They have football, baseball, basketball, hockey, you name it. The staff is very professional. The one negative is that the pizzas are thin and way overpriced. However, if you go before 4PM, you can get a lunch combo without breaking the bank. So, hurry up and get there before 4PM!

Great round tables, superior service. Use the Unilocal 15% off and save some money! Food is just like any other round tables. So are prices so idk why everyone is complaining. Service was great they took my order promptly and gave me 15% off my bill with my Unilocal coupon. They brought my food out and made sure I was ok, even cleaned up after me. I will be back soon when I’m craving a good pizza. They have beer! An extra plus.

3 stars for football and brews on game day, either than that… No. The food is just way to overpriced for what you get, and it tastes alright. Save your money for better pizza somewhere else.

Life saver at school. Pizza and beer between classes? Can’t go wrong!

Do not go here during break when school is not in session, unless you have 40 minutes to wait for your food. They are short staffed and the service is extremely slow.

Im going to have to give this place two stars. the pizza is ok but it sits around till sold. No fresheness about it. The garic parmesan twists taste like rubber and I would not recommend anyone to get them here. The service is always about average. They give you wrist bands if youre to drink there with a max limit. You can increase the limit if you take off your wrist band. Its the only place to drink a beer on campus. The beer is ok if you get a good seller. Some of the less ordered beer will taste a bit flat but they may or may not replace it if you complain. If you want good service go get lunch from the Togos man in the quad. I only eat here because the smell of pizza cant keep me away!

Really? This place sucks. The pizzas are subpar, the salads have iceberg lettuce, and everything’s prefab. The ONLY reason this joint doesn’t end up with a one star review is the staff are friendly and it’s open later than anything on campus so you won’t starve. But that’s not saying much… I would venture to say the reason it ranks higher than it should is because alcohol is involved

I may still be high off my stroll down memory lane, but I am giving them FIVE stars. Yup. FIVE. After not being on the campus in over a decade when I graduated, I found myself on the Sac State campus once again. Deciding to pop in for a quick beer and bite to eat, all of the employees were super friendly and helpful. I was asking all of them a million questions relating to how things are the same and how things are different from back when I went to school there. They were patient with all of my inane questions and comments and never let on that I was probably annoying the crap out of them. We ordered beer and pizza from the bar and Danielle, our server, was quick and efficient. Only $ 3.50 for a draught Blue Moon! I say only because that’s what we pay at the bars in town, I figured it would be inflated being on campus and all. The pizza was a little steep at over $ 7 but again, its a college campus, it happens. One of the girls is carrying a bunch of trays and drops them, another employee comes over and helps her pick them up. Team work! I love it! While waiting for our pizza, I asked for an ice water. Danielle brings one over in a togo cup with lid, but no straw. I ask for one, she points to where they are, and before I can pop the lid off to just drink it out of the cup, another employee(I am so sorry I forgot your name!) gets up from his dinner break, to get me a straw. Now THAT is what I call service! Overall a fantastic experience and a great way to top off the evening at my alma mater. Kudos to you Hive employees!

I seldom give one star reviews. I really hate doing that because I believe in the whole«If you don’t have anything good to say…» principle. However, I feel like I need to speak up because this is just some SAD pizza. Round table… do you hate college students? So many reviewers complained about the price. Honestly, if the pizza was good, I don’t think they will be complaining. I ordered a personal pizza to go, and the guy turns around and took a box out of some drawer. Seriously? How long has it been sitting in there? The pizza looked really overcooked(parts of the cheese were dark brown), and looked like something served in a high school cafeteria. I still thought, OK, maybe it just looks bad, but will taste OK. How wrong I was. It was basically really tasteless and salty at the same time. There was barely any sauce on it and the cheese was hard as a rock. The crust was spongy and kind of nasty. I’ve had airline pizza that tasted better. That’s saying a lot. Please do away with the pre-made pizza! I understand perhaps it needs to be done during busy lunch times, but it was way past lunch when I went and there were just a few customers. Please treat college students with some respect and serve us edible pizza! I’ve had Roundtable pizza in other locations and it was actually quite good. Why are college students given the shaft in this? We’re not culinary idiots you know? Some of us actually know and appreciate good food.

This place is a rip off! I know its on campus and all, but atleast make it good if its going to be that expensive for a small pizza. I was craving for pizza and this place did not help.

I come here when im on campus and have nothing else to eat. This place is the only place on campus that serves beer. During lunch hours(ends at 4) the personal pizza is only 5 dollars, after that it’s about 7.50. My favorite is the garlic chicken. It’s not the best pizza, but will get you by. There are a lot of seatings but the corner ones are always taken by students. Theres also great outside seatings on a sunny day. Overall:3

This was a gratis thank you from our fund development department and our organization likes to purchase food from restaurants in the neighborhood. Well, as pizza goes, I can’t say I like it, greasy, tasteless paper-like crust, and that was the plain cheese variety. I’m just not a fan

When I’m done with a test, or done with class, my friends and I often come here for some pizza, chicken, and… wait for it… BEER(blue moon hayyy) lol. This place is the best place to hang out with your friends on campus after a stressful day of studying. Beers are pretty cheap.3.50 for a 16 oz of blue moon. Get that with pizza and some chicken wannggs and you’re set! My only complaint is the ridiculously long wait for your food… but that’s okay because during that wait time, my friends and I are usually talking up a storm and enjoying our refreshing blue moon with an orange :)

Yikes! Don’t eat this garbage. It’s not good for you. Why pay so much for a toxic mix of shriveled vegetables, lethal meat supplemented with pink sludge, and rubberized cheese that won’t decompose for a thousand years(inside or outside your body)? Go down the street to a real pizza parlor on Folsom Blvd.

When this place on campus opened it was pretty packed so I stayed away for a while. Eventually things calmed down and I was finally able to go in and give the place a shot. They have some great lunch special deals that always have me leaving full and, best of all, with leftovers! The service is really slow and the employees aren’t very nice, but none-the-less you still get the yummy food in the end. Don’t come here if you’re in a rush. This the place to go when you have those long long break between classes or after a long day on campus. Grab a pizza with a pitcher of beer and hang out with some of your closest friends to laugh the day away.

Round Table Pizza is my favorite place at Sac State to get something to eat with a big group. I remember going downstairs with other people from the student newspaper, kicking back a few beers and, as you expect college students to do, talking a lot about sex and relationships. The pizza is always good and the menu offers a variety of combinations. Montague’s All Meat Marvel, with four types of meat, is excellent. The bread sticks aren’t too bad, although they occasionally fail to be fresh. There are small salads for vegetarians and sandwiches for people who apparently can’t find Togo’s, Da Deli or Java City. A menu can be found at the Web site. Round Table is one of three campus restaurants that sell alcohol — the other two being the University Center Restaurant and Hula’s Bar and Grill. You can’t buy beer by the pitcher and are limited to three pints per visit. The hefeweizen and Fat Tire were my favorite two beers on tap. (The restaurant stopped selling pitchers in the fall of 2004 to minimize the risk of underage students getting their paws on beer. A decoy with the California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control caught an employee selling alcohol to a minor in May 2004 and the restaurant’s license was suspended for 15 days.) The main line and the drink line becomes a confusing mismatch when Round Table gets busy. A sign hangs above and next to the beer taps telling patrons to stand there if you just want something to drink. Too often, one of the cashiers freaks out and people in the drink line get passed over for people looking to order a pizza, salad or whatever else. Round Table isn’t the best place to study, but it’s always been the best place to chill out with friends and hear that you’re not the only person freaking out about classes.
