The california License for this outfit has been revoked. There are reasons for that. Among that the poor workmanship and irresponsiveness to correct the problems. Someone took them to the court, won the judgment and when they failed to pay up, the license was revoked. Better find some other reputable outfit with propser license to business in California. They will tell you that they have the licnese or that their license is in Nevada. California requirements are different. So aviod at all costs!

Nice enough when you call, but no follow through. I called to request a bid and was told they have a high-​tech «pre-​bid» process and will email me the pre-​bid within 24 hours. Nothing. I waited an extra day, called back, and was told I would receive highest priority and receive the bid by later that day or first thing the next morning. Nothing. Guess they don’t need or want the business.

Like the previous reviewer it has been about 12 years, but the ill effects are still there. I didn’t know that after your pool is re-​plastered you have to brush it six times a day for several weeks — and Rodriguez Bros. didn’t tell me. After all the preliminary discussions and scheduling; I’m a teacher, so planned to have it done prior to Winter Break, the day before my family left to visit family out of town for the holiday. I got home from work that day, and there was a piece of paper stuck into my screen door explaining all the post care that was necessary. I called them very upset as I could not change my travel plans and could not do the aftercare. There advice was to cancel the trip. I called my sister and she agreed to come daily and brush the pool. When I returned I did my best, brushing the pool before and after work. When I called them and said it looked horrible, I’d paid $ 500 extra for a dark pool plaster, and it was streaked, lined, and speckled, they said it was my fault. They would come fix it for an additional $ 500. I didn’t need to have my pool resurfaced over winter break. If I’d known about the aftercare I’d have scheduled it during the summer — when I’m off! The fact that they didn’t inform me and were unsympathetic and wanted to charge me more to fix it was infuriating. In addition, when they came out to see the damage and I showed them what I’d been doing in brushing, they said it was also my fault because my pool pump pulled from the skimmer not the drain at the bottom of the pool… which no one had mentioned was a problem, and since they were the ones that removed the Barracuda Cleaner prior to re-​plastering, they would have known that the filter was adjusted not to pull from the bottom. I wish I could post pictures for you to see. After all the difficulty I wasn’t going to give them another dime. I called another company to hire them to do the repair, but they said they would not attempt to repair a Rodriguez job, it wasn’t work the liability. It has been along time, and maybe they are under new management that gives a damn about the customer — but before you hire them I“d say go see some of their pools and talk to some clients, otherwise it isn’t worth the risk or saving a few thousand dollars.

The worst contractor ever! They did my pool, and the tiles are coming out, literally falling off the side of the pool. They installed an auto fill device and got concrete inside of the pipe so when my pool needs to be filled it dribbles in slower than the sun evaporates the water in the summer. They won’t come and fix it. Additionally they quoted me one price and then billed me another (Higher). When I showed them the quote they said that the family member that quoted it was sick and therefore they would not stand buy their quote. I later found out that they filed a lien against my home. I had to fight it and the lien was removed. Poor work and unethical! Save yourself a big headache and don’t use them.

I had my pool replastered last month by Rodriguez Bros. The guys were very professional and gave me the best rate after 2 other quotes. I am very happy with the finished results and can enjoy my new looking pool! I would recommend them!
